2 Bedroom Place in New Holland

This is a one of a kind 2nd floor 1700's Brick Farm House with many, many flower gardens, a small stream behind the house, a gorgeous pond complete with a sand beach area and a large dock, plus pastures and fields all on 60 acres. It is located a few miles outside of Intercourse, Pa close to the major attractions of Amish Country. Come enjoy the garden spot of America. Visit Lapp Valley Farm (Lancaster's best ice cream), Kitchen Kettle Village, Dutch Wonderland, and Sight and Sound Theaters.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and dishes plus a neat dining room. The living room has 2 pullout couches and and 2 recliners for you to sit and relax or you are welcome to relax outdoors among the beautiful gardens. Complete with 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds and a full bath this amazing suite offers you all the comforts of home..
This suite is newly renovated with new carpets in both bedrooms and the living room. The stairway has been renovated and new doorways for the bedrooms. Everything has a fresh coat of paint and we have added many conveniences for you and your family.
The outdoors offers many flower gardens to stroll among. A small creek runs behind the house and the kids and adults alike are welcome to splash and wade in the waters. There is also a large pond in the back and you are welcome to sit and enjoy the peace and beauty. The pond is now a swimming pond. (If you wish to swim in the pond please make prior arrangements) You are welcome to bring your fishing gear and fish from the pond all on catch and release.
In the meadows you will see our longhorn cattle. They are large beautiful animals and although somewhat tamed they are not to be trusted. Please do not enter the meadows or feed the animals without permission. The horse in the barn loves treats so you are welcome to give him an occasional treat:) We have one pig, a flock of chickens & 3 goats.

Summary: This was a peaceful place to stay. I was in the area as my Dad was not well. This was perfect. It would be a wonderful spot for anyone that wants to experience the area. I highly recommend this location The homemade bread was yummy.

Summary: If you want to know what it like to stay on a beautiful farm with animals, landscaping and wonderful hosts, this is the place. From the fresh homemade bread to feeding the animals, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wanted a place to stay that wasn’t a hotel to spend quality time with grandchildren and this was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed to make meals of you wanted to, very comfortable beds and plenty of room to relax. The hosts live on property and were not intrusive but available if needed. You can take full advantage of walking around the property, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Please know that this is a home built in the 1750’s so expect the charm that comes with the age of the house but with all the creature comforts needed. This was our first VRBO experience and was pleased with the entire process. The only negative I have was that it was too short a stay.

Summary: It was just exactly as the listing said! Comfy beds. Recliners! A full kitchen with an OVEN and STOVE TOP, pans, dishes, cups, and utensils. We only slept there so didn't get to see the gardens but did see the longhorn cattle and the OLD cemetery... The owner was very kind and helpful! Great rates!!

Summary: This was the perfect retreat from which to explore Lancaster county. Suzanne and her lovely family were a kind, gracious and responsive hosts. The farm and garden are beautiful and the animals a treat. The apartment is super comfortable and kitchen is well equipped.

Summary: This was exactly what I was looking for. Very peaceful and relaxing in the countryside. Mom is from Key West and is a quilter so she loves going to Lancaster county. We both bought quilts 25 years ago and she wanted to come back. Hosts were wonderful and so was the suite. You can't go wrong staying here.

Summary: If you’re looking for the perfect, quiet getaway this is it! (Even with a toddler we found peace) haha. I was so grateful that the home had toys for my kiddo as well as lots of animals to see around the owners farm. The home is 5-15 min from attractions which was perfect. Highly recommend!

Summary: This was the absolute perfect stay for our Lancaster trip. In the heart of everything with amazing outdoor space. We loved the accommodations, the family and the grounds. We even got to take home a piece of the farm with buying some perennials on site. You will NOT go wrong booking here.

Summary: Our time at this farm was incredible it was a lovely location beautiful grounds and just peaceful and quiet. The family at the farm was wonderful they were soft-spoken pleasant people and I really enjoyed seeing them. Our experience there was like visiting family because we enjoyed seeing the people around the farm but if we didn't want to we didn't have to. We would definitely recommend staying at the garden thyme if you want to just find a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful area.
