Positive: Location is convenient and tje rooms are reasonably good.

Negative: The toilet seat was broken The rooms were too hot and you cant control the heater. It is understandable that the winter is very cold temperature reached -13 yet tje rooms were over heated and its central so you can't adjust it.

Positive: The staff at the reception welcomed with smiles and a hot tea, which after twenty hours of train is always great. The restaurant wasn't very alive, but all in all it's a good place to stay in Kars before going on to Tbilisi or to visit Ani (the bus going to the ruins is very close to the hotel)

Negative: Spa was unexpectedly closed on my second day, also not super clean, had to change rooms due to airconditioning not working and communication with staff was via google translate as they didn’t speak English

Positive: The staff were very nice and helpful. The staff that worked in the restaurant in the evening were excellent.

Negative: It was clean and comfortable and there was air conditioning that worked!
