You will be only a hop, skip, and jump from Algiers/Canal Street ferry in Algiers Point, which is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans, younger only than the world famous French Quarter. The Point is filled with classic architecture and turn of the century homes that recall the slower pace of life of days gone by.
The property is located 1 exit from French Quarters. 7 miles from New Orleans Convention Center. 7.5 Miles from Superdome. Uber/Lyft cost on average is $12-15 to French Quarters/downtown. Summary: This property was conveniently located around a lot of stores. The house was cozy. The host were very helpful when needed and also had recommendations for places to visit while we were there. I would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Summary: Check in was extremely easy! I am so thankful that we found this gem! It was perfect for our group of 5. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors we met as we were coming and going were very kind. The unit was beautifully decorated. We were supplied with everything we needed plus more. The beds were so comfortable. It was so nice to have 2 1/2 bathrooms with our large group. Each bedroom has its own bathroom upstairs and then there is another 1/2 bathroom downstairs which was great for my daughter who slept downstairs. We enjoyed exploring the French Quarter. It’s about 10-12 minutes from the room. The Solaris Parking Garage was our favorite place to park. It is located a short walk from the Hard Rock Cafe. We paid $15 for 3 hours and it’s valet parking. Also, our favorite experience was the swamp tour by Cajun Encounters’s. It’s approximately a 30 minute drive from this location. We enjoyed visiting the City Park. We toured the Botanical Garden and it was beautiful. I hope this review helps someone. We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. Our host was amazing! He sent us a list of the all the best places to eat in New Orleans. This was by far the best experience I’ve had booking through VRBO. This unit and host exceeded all my expectations!

Summary: It was good location for our stay, it was outdated, an a few things weren't working including the dryer that was in pieces on the floor at arrival, tvs were glitchy an couple other things but for what it was it worked for our short stay. Enjoyed NOLA though

Summary: First the place was NOT clean. Ceiling was leaking. Dryer didn’t work. Bedroom #1 ceiling fan didn’t work nor did the bathtub hold water. This has been the worst stay I have ever experienced.

Summary: We were woke up to the neighbors renovations at 6am and when host were notified they responded saying that they knew about the renovation process. We were notified that we were to get a partial refund due to all the noise next door, but we still have yet to receive anything nor an update about it.
