Summary: My son and I had an amazing stay here. The house was perfect for our needs and only a 5 min bike ride to the shuttle pickup. Our hosts Garry and Paula were such lovely people and really went out of their way to help. Next time we come back there is only one place we'll be staying!

Summary: Garry and his wife are amazing, they were very accommodating and were right on hand if we needed anything. Plenty of space to park our double trailer and the house was clean and comfortable.

Summary: Gary showed us hospitality right from our first meeting we instantly felt at home. Whare just 3/4 minutes out of town, perfect for our stay. Nice clean cosy open plan 3 bdrm whare. Plenty parking, bbq area. All elements n oven working well. Beautiful fire that kept us warm Gary had wood and chips ready for us. Although Garry and his wife live next door to the whare they left us to enjoy our stay. We had primary school age tamariki they enjoyed games provided. there is another connecting whare for hire sleeps 6 as well.We will definitely be back now that we know theres space for up to12 people we can enjoy with extra whānau. Summary: The house is very close to mtb park but to get there you need to drive on the highway, if you have smaller kids, that might be tricky. The house is located close to highway, but we didn't have any trouble with noise. Rural setting is very nice. Gary is very helpful and welcoming. It is not stated in the listing that owners house is just next rented house, and the rented house itself is semi detached, you can hear people going to the bathroom nextdoors and washing machine clearly. We were lucky not to have noisy neighbours. The heat pump is listed, but it's not working. The house is a bit dated, there was only one tea bag (but there was a coffee), the hand soap finished in the middle of our stay, no shampoo or body wash. If it's all important for you, better look for something else. Otherwise good value for what you pay a night.

Summary: Was good we were there for 4 day only thing we could of had more of was towels side door was broken as well so slight gap in sliding door made it a tad more cold for friend who stayed in that room besides that everything was good

Summary: We had a lovely time in Rotorua, Garry was very welcoming & we loved the cottage, especially the warm fire. So close to the redwoods too. Will definitely stay again. Thanks Garry!
