Summary: My Husband and I treated ourselves to a spa day and Dinner, Bed and Breakfast overnight stay for our wedding anniversary. It was brilliant from start to finish and the food was amazing! Amenities in the room were great too. We will definitely return!

Summary: Check in was very busy, food hit and miss, part of a wedding party the night before for food, waited over an hour for food. Ordered a Sunday lunch, turkey very dry, it was later in the day probably about 7.40pm before I was served. Breakfast was good on both occasions staff were lovely in the breakfast area. Attended a wedding on the second day of our stay which was great.

Summary: Warm welcome and beautiful room. Ate lunch in the Nelson bar on my own while waiting for partner to arrive and was made to feel comfortable and welcome. Same waiter on the evening - George. He was chatty funny and even sung for us - a fabulous member of staff. The room was beautiful and spa experience was fabulous. We especially enjoyed the live piano music on the evening with a cheeky cocktail or two! Will definitely stay again!

Summary: Not so good experience. Didn’t know at time of booking that it was a dog friendly hotel and I seem to be on the ground floor with the majority of them. First night kept awake by a dog backing and whining through the night. Reception when I reported it really wasn’t bothered, response was “ we would look into it” Breakfast staff very nice and obliging and nothing was a problem. House keeping staff absolutely lovely. Alister (manager) amazing gentleman. Function staff I found rude or just ignored any requests we had. They either didn’t answer you or were rude, I asked barman for glass of ice water and he touted at me and bang glass on counter and walked away without one word spoken. Would I come back….only if I really had too

Summary: Wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. Gorgeous room, very spacious with massive comfy bed. Well equipped throughout with all amenities you would need. Dinner at the pub was very good too.
