Summary: Conveniently located a few minutes from the airport, $12 Taxi ride. Bus/ferry pass will take you around the whole island.

Summary: We had a great time but check in was awful. They need to work on communication. I partly blame this booking site. I booked 2 rooms for my family but because one room was a King and one was a Double the website gave me 2 separate reservations. I contacted the Grotto and asked to make sure we would be together. They emailed me their confirmation. When we checked in we were in 2 separate buildings! After arguing with the manager we were able to get 2 king rooms on same floor same building but my kids would have to move the next day to get a double we preferred for them. We dropped our bags with the bell men but after 30+ minutes my son went back and we dragged our bags up the hill because they were still sitting there. The next morning, I asked to have housekeeping prioritize the new room so we would not be without a room. They assured us they would. It never happened, we witnessed housekeeping go to other empty rooms first. We asked to be called or texted when room was ready. We were told we would get an email. The email never arrived. On the positive side we did the all inclusive and the food except for the BBQ buffet and Hibiscus Ribey (avoid) was surprisingly good ! Rooms were clean but a bit beat up. Bar tenders and waitstaff were very nice! Private beach was significantly nicer than the famous Tobacco Bay. Spa was lovely. Hot tub is small and needs an upgrade. This resort has TONS of steps! Get your stair master in before you go. I don’t recommend for elderly or disabled.

Summary: Staff is lovely. Maya st the front desk is a gem. And Vinay the server was very attentive and took great photos for us. Dario another server was very observant and brought us refills without having us ask.

Summary: We had a very nice time. The lobby and restaurants are updated. Resort is 5 min from the airport. Taxis were easy to get , the staff was nice and friendly, comfortable bed, food was good by the pool amd very nice private beach set up . For the price and location - highly reccomend. We will be back.

Summary: Room that I was shown vs I was given were not the same at all. When mentioned, I was sent to another room that did not have king bed but good view, then sent to a 3rd room with an eve worse (no view) view and king bed. After 30 minutes of walking around the resort I was given a room that had a decent (as shown) view and king bed and was told I will be charged extra (thankfully I was not) I had mentioned it was my anniversary and there was nothing the resort did for that. I had booked a spa with add on and they did not take extra time for the 15 minute add on and finished it in the same time. Great resort, great location but spoils the experience.

Summary: The people were so friendly and anything we asked for they were so helpful and kind. The food was absolutely amazing! The ocean and beach were wonderful. They had all sorts of toys for kids to play with and for adults. I would definitely come again and stay at the grotto.

Summary: Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, always a different musician at the bar in the evenings. Lots of walking with stairs to get around the resort, just fyi. Love that the pool, beach, and caves were right on property. Easy bus and moped rental outside the gate. Only small negative was they did not have complimentary coffee in the morning (expected for the price we paid per night). Wonderful stay-we’ll be back!!

Summary: I was pleasantly surprised by Grotto Beach resort. The grounds were clean & well-kept, the staff were all incredibly friendly & helpful, and the property was beautiful. It is absolutely worth it to get the all-inclusive: even though it seems pricey at first, the cost of meals and drinks more than make it a super value. Plus, it includes a full bus & ferry pass for use during your stay - - this was a fantastic benefit, saving us countless hassles with a taxi....and it really was very simple to navigate. The resort overall was quiet, the food was delicious, and the service excellent. I would certainly plan on staying there on my next Bermuda vacation!
