Positive: Good location, friendly staff at check-in. The room was clean.

Negative: No hangers anywhere for your clothes/towels (room or shower), no space, bad WiFi. No space. You have to clean up after yourself, but are not given everything to do so properly. Showers and toilets on separate floors.

Summary: For a hostel, it's ok.

Positive: Good price. Very good location of the hotel. It was a bit confusing to find it because it was hidden under a different name (or I didn't see it), but access to the hostel is great. There is inexpensive parking nearby - 24 hours - 5£, or it's easy to find free parking. Good shops nearby, delicious pizza, 3 minutes to the Co-Op grocery store. I liked that there is an area for sitting, tables and sofas. Access to the showers is shared, but they all have doors and are private. There is a kitchen, refrigerator, air grill, toaster and microwave.

Negative: I wouldn't say it's a big problem, but in one room for 3 people there was a bunk bed, where two people were on the bottom and 1 person on top. The bed creaked with any movement and wobbled a little, but we had tools and we tightened the bolts, but it didn't help much.

Positive: The building where my room was had kitchen, lounge, shared showers and toilets. I would think overall good place if intent is to spend a few days in the area. Also, location is good for Isle of Skye and Fort William.

Negative: The single most annoying issue was a mechanical noise coming from the (switched off) radiator every one or two hours, it lasted just a few seconds but it was very loud, woke me up a couple of times at night, no idea why the radiator made that noise, they should check it out and repair it. Also, the single glazing facing a road with traffic light added to the noise. And curtains had no blinders. Room was definitely not value for money, very expensive for one person and given the tiny size (a bunk bed for three people and just enough space to stand), the very basic furniture and bed sound insulation, it would have been expensive for a family too.

Positive: Central location. Comfy beds. Clean shower and kitchen and premises in the whole.

Negative: Sharing the room I discovered the average of people snoring in the world should be around 80-85%, 4 out of 6 did it on this experiment, so the 5th person turned on her radio mobile to feel some break out of this hard choke battle fought by our species. A pretty fuss was it!
