Summary: Lovely quiet location by the water’s edge and handy for Plockton and the Kyle, though still quite a way to get into the middle Skye itself. The property was a little dated, but had good facilities and a garden leading down to the water. All was fine, though parts of the kitchen need a good clean particularly the oven and the cooker hood which was particularly bad, but we cleaned it as best as we could. Overall is was fine for what we needed.

Summary: This was our second stay at Seacroft and this time we brought 4 of our friends including 2 from the USA to see the wonderful location and scenery in the Highlands. Everyone was blown away by the views and the wonderful accommodation at Seacroft, offering plenty of space for the 6 of us. We ended up having to extend our stay by a day due to car problems and Constance went out of her way to help us and make us feel welcome.

Summary: I loved the location of the house - private and right next to water with amazing view out of the sitting room window. Lots of walks around. The house itself was all good. Especially loved the comfy bed and powerful shower. The kitchen has everything you need for longer stay, you can cook whatever you want to. A lot of storage area too. We were all enjoying the sitting area with fire and amazing view. The house can get pretty warm which is just perfect for me. I wasn’t cold at all although I was worried I might be. Really practical was also the washing maschine, dryer and dishwasher. Really appreciate it.

Summary: Constance was a very helpful host answering all our questions before we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very homely, clean and spacious with plenty of room for the children to play inside and outside. We were very impressed with the very well equipped kitchen which has everything you could possibly need. The dining table is also a good size for large groups and the living room area has plenty of comfy couches and seats for everyone. All of the bedrooms are a good size with plenty of storage, 3 of which had en-suite toilets with showers. The kids loved with big family bathroom with the jacuzzi bath. The location is fantastic too. We were sad to leave and could happily have stayed longer than our 5 days. We would happily recommend this house to anyone.

Summary: Super location for trips out onto Loch Alsh or onto Skye etc. B&B next door who were very friendly. The property itself is a bit disappointing, it needs some TLC and could really benefit from 'proper' access to the Loch as opposed to battling through the undergrowth. The property is also cluttered with the owners items which I'm sure is lovely for them...not so great for us!..and not great from a Covid perspective either - far too many items to be properly cleaned at turnover. On the positive side, the property did accommodate our group well (two adults and two children as well as two other couples).

Summary: We stayed here over the Xmas and NY period and had a fabulous two weeks. The house was really spacious and very well equipped. The views were amazing and we loved sitting in the spacious lounge area watching for wildlife and taking in the magnificent views. The house was cosy and warm, but we still enjoyed the centrally located wood burner. The local area has many amenities, so catered for our needs, it’s also a fabulous base for exploring Skye and visiting the Eilean Donan Castle. We were lucky enough to see a sea eagle and an otter family along the shore during our stay. Constance was very helpful with questions and advice on the run up to our stay and throughout. The neighbours were also very friendly and helpful. We hope to return again for another stay.

Summary: He had a wonderful stay at Seacroft! The location couldn't be any better. Watching the weather and tides change on the loch was so beautiful and we had access to a well stocked co-op just a 10 minutes away. The Bridge to Skye was just about 15 minutes away. The house is very well equipped, lots of pot and pans and utensils. Having three en-suites was really great. Constance we easy to work with and very responsive to our questions both before and during the stay. All in all a great vacation get away.

Summary: Pros: Location Size of property En-suite bathrooms Kitchen well stocked with crockery and cutlery Cons: Not very clean Heating / Hot water controlled remotely by owner so no hot water when you need it. Prepare for cold showers! Poor slow WiFi connection Wood burner placed on stone slabs with sharp edges and corners - lethal to your feet and high risk for tripping over. Direction to find the property - follow signs for the B&B.
