Positive: If you treat Roddy's Cottage as a starting point to visit Isle of Skye (we did), the location is very good from the cost/convenience ration point of view. This is quite spacious house, well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine etc.) and clean. The view on the lake and great views on the way is definitely worth a journey. In the village you will find the shop and good restaurant.
Negative: There is only one bathroom, which for some groups may be not enough. Our GPS got lost, so it took as longer to find the house.

Positive: The location and the outside space were great and everything provided inside worked very well.
Negative: Our only minor issue is that the bedroom layout didn’t suit our party very well, having to walk through one bedroom to access another.
Summary: Enjoyable, we would definitely consider staying again.

Positive: The cottage was just delightful. The views were stunning and having access to the water, right across the road, was fantastic. The cottage had everything we needed including a hotly contested Monopoly board game. The ferry is close by, and the local inn has fantastic staff with gorgeous food.

Positive: Absolutely perfect oasis to stay when visiting Isle of Skye, you have all the benefits of the area without the hustle and bustle with the cottage located in an oasis of its own. The ferry from Glenelg across to Isle of Skye was a majory highlight for out day visit, and we loved our dinner at the local Glenelg Pub. Only downside if wish we had more time to relax and unwind in the surrounding Glenelg area; the views and roads were so quiet and stunning, perfect for running and cyling alike!
Negative: Only downside worth mentioning subject to your group is that the twin beds bedroom is accessed via the double bed, which was a bit strange, the bunk bed room however remains seperate.
