Positive: Exceptional location. Super attentive and accommodating staff. Great facilities. Breathtaking sunset view over the Nile and the major sites around Luxor on the west bank of the river.

Negative: The dinner service at the Olives restaurant was quite slow when we went for that two of the evenings. The Asian restaurant which requires a reservation was more hype than worth, but all in all a great stay.

Positive: Excellent hotel in an unbelievable location! Felt like a really relaxing hotel with great amenities. Staff were also lovely and very helpful. The outside space will take your breath away overlooking the nile and i like that you can use the spa pool as well which is a bit quieter. Food and drink was also a reasonable price. Possibly the best hotel we stayed at Egypt.

Negative: There was nothing to dislike.

Positive: I honestly can’t understand how anyone could find something to criticize about this place. Not only is the property truly beautiful, located directly on the Nile, but the staff are also exceptionally friendly without exception. What makes this place so special are the small details: the warm smiles, the attentive service, the feeling of being welcome and the calm, beautiful atmosphere throughout the hotel. Everything feels thoughtful, relaxed, and well taken care of.

Positive: The staff was very friendly and super helpful, with a big thank you to Hamdy at the Sunset Bar who literally ran to make sure we had time to eat before meeting our guide. The pool area is stunning and the perfect spot to have a cocktail at sunset.

Negative: The corridors and rooms are a little worse for wear - buckling carpets, chipped baseboards, small tears in our bed linen and robes.

Summary: Outside areas fab, but inside spaces could use a refresh.
