Summary: The house was very clean and inviting. We had a little communication issue about where the keys were supposed to be, so finding the keys to get in was a little tricky at -3 degree temperatures. Other than that, everything was very good and the host was very hospitable.

Summary: What an amazing home! It was cozy and had such a calm feel. Everything was crisp and clean; the beds were so comfortable and we slept so great! The owners thought of everything we would need and were easy to communicate with when we had a question. You can tell family was a priority for Grandma Helen and we are so grateful to have had the chance to stay in her home. Thank you!

Summary: My cousins and I had a family reunion here and had a lovely time. There was enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably and the house is a work of art. The little touches and family history make this place memorable and personable. And it's close to downtown if you want to go for a walk and explore. Book this place and you won't regret it.

Summary: Our group of 6 women stayed at Grandma Helen's House while biking in Dallas County IA. We felt so fortunate to have found this wonderful VRBO. The home is beautiful with so many special touches!!! We loved the beautiful wood work in an and built in areas. Spacious with 6 bedrooms, newly remodeled kitchen. Very roomy living areas. Super clean. Beds were super comfortable. The owners were super good to work with. Kept in touch with us. Alerted us about a tornado watch and told us how to get to the basement if we needed to. They left a bouquet of lovely lilacs at our door. I would highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed!

Summary: Such an enjoyable stay. We brought our grandkids (age 3 and 1), our daughter and her husband. It was very spacious for all with everything we needed for the kids. Love the location. Close to downtown, cute shops and restaurants. Very clean, excellent communication throughout our stay. I would highly recommend Helen's House. So cozy and comfortable.
