Summary: Great place good location, accommodation we’re definitely sufficient, my only issue is the hat it was pretty dirty when we arrived. Also my motorcycle got stolen off the front yard. That’s nothing that the landlord could have done but just be cautious.

Summary: I looked at other properties but am so happy I chose this one. The location and neighborhood was wonderful. Walking to the little local restaurants and stores, sitting on the porch and waving to neighbors as they walked their dogs, taking long walks and feeling safe, comfortable beds and quality linens, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful home with charactered architecture and details, lovely landlady and neighbors, centrally located to all areas of New Orleans, I could go on. I loved the claw foot tub for baths but could be a bit of a challenge for some people to get in and out of. Our stay here just gave me a love and appreciation for New Orleans and the people.

Summary: The location of the property was very nice for a longer stay. It was easy to either walk to the streetcar, or drive to major highways. There were a couple miscommunications regarding date of checkin, and the cleanliness was not what we would have liked, however, we discussed our concerns with the owner and she settled up w us.

Summary: My husband and I loved spending a month in this duplex. Pat is a wonderful host - easy to communicate with and quick to fix any issue. The location is perfect in a great neighborhood just a couple of blocks from the Canal Street streetcar, making it easy to access the French Quarter without driving. There’s a good supermarket less than a mile away and bars and restaurants within a few blocks or less. It’s also a very easy drive to Metarie. The house itself was very comfortable for us. It looks just like the photos and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. The wifi was not as fast as we hoped - we only got about 12 Mbps second download and less than 1 Mbps upload. This was good enough for most streaming services and one-on-one video meetings but we sometimes had trouble streaming live sports and larger virtual meetings. We would absolutely love to stay here again, especially if the neighborhood gets faster internet in the future.
