Positive: Great view. Rooms were a decent size. The meal on our second night was very good. The property had very nice filtered water. Some very friendly staff.

Negative: Very expensive and definitely not value for money. The rooms were very tired and basic, with thin walls (we could hear the person next door singing in the shower).

Summary: Great views, but too expensive for the very basic rooms

Positive: A fantastic riverside location with great views. The evening meal was buffet style with a really good range of dishes.

Negative: Our room suffered a bit from generator noise at night and the breakfast would have benefitted from muesli and porridge but otherwise all was good .

Positive: Location. View. Quite.

Negative: Staff is friendly and nice, but needs better training. Excursion desk is not reliable. She made a booking for French valley for us and failed to secure boat reservation. We ended up doing base of tower hike and guide was ok. Overall, this place needs better management. Staff lacks training.

Summary: If you have options stay at other place. Convenient for French Valley and glacier hike. Not convenient for base of tower
