Positive: If you're searching for luxury and cozyness in the same time, while enjoying the magnificent views of Torres del Paine, Hotel Rio Serrano is your place. There're numerous facilities that can satisfy every taste. The Spa centre works till late and can be a great end of your hiking day. There's also a variety of food and 2 places where you can eat, all prepared with local ingredients and quite delicious. Another good thing is that you cam book different experiences directly from the hotel - horse riding, day hikes or many more. Even if you're not going on their organised excursions, the stuff is helpful and provides some valuable tips which to make your experience even better. We were also impressed by the portions of complimentary lamb the guests were served. It was cooked in a traditional Chilean way.
Negative: We had a problem with the hot water in the room. Even though we waited for some time, it was warm at best and not hot as you can expect from such a hotel. However, we stayed for 1 night only so it might be a temporary issue.

Negative: Everything was great. They are a bit strict with check in times, which as a guest if you are arriving early might not be the best. But it is their policy and there’s not much to say or complain about.

Positive: The service and location was great. Food options were great as well and well drinks.
Negative: Amenities were great. If you are planning on getting a massage, book it asap as they get booked fast. Breakfast options were limited wish the offered other than scramble eggs, that was my only downside.

Positive: Location and view is exquisite. Make sure you book the rooms with mountain views. This alone make the hotel. Food and service was excellent.
Negative: For goodness sake... why in a first class hotel don't you have any space to umpack clothes? The rooms are huge with a tiny wardrobe . We had clothes and suitcases all over the place. Cheap scabby furniture spoils their rating which would otherwise be 10. Spend 100 dollars and put a chest of drawers in every room and a TV and mirror would go unappreciated either.
