Summary: Great stay. Yes! Amazing included breakfast. Comfortable firm bed. Heads up- hard to find entrance. On side of street vs at the point or front of building.

Summary: Nice hotel and location. Rooms need improving, not all rooms had a bedside lights or sofa, vanity stuff etc. The best thing about the hotel was the rustic lobby entrance. It was stunning, shame the theme didn’t follow through in the rooms

Summary: Very nice hotel with cool decor in the lobby and entry area. Beautiful rooftop deck with pretty flowers, etc. Breakfast was excellent and the service was very nice. We arrived somewhat late in the evening and there was someone at the street level who was waiting to let us in. But once we were inside and upstairs at the lobby we waited a VERY long time before someone showed up to the front desk to check us in. Probably 15+ minutes. We were tired and it was just a bummer. We got the basic room and it was just fine...a little tight, but clean and served its purpose. I would stay here again.

Summary: We had a great experience at Hotel Presidente. The staff was amazing!! Great continental breakfast!!! we also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious with a great outdoor area. If you’re planning a trip to San Jose Costa Rica, I highly recommend this hotel.

Summary: Usually hotel restaurants are hit or miss. Their Azotea Calle 7 on the 4th floor was amazing! My wife would give them six stars if she could. We had the ceviche which was amazing, followed by the sea bass entree with a carrot puree. It was fantastic. The service was great as well. We went to other restaurants in the city cneter and nothing compared. You have to try this place!

Summary: Excellent hotel, superb staff who went out of their way to welcome and take care of us, top-notch food and helpful & efficient staff in the restaurant, very comfortable room and bed, overall superb. Downtown San Jose is interesting but a bit tatty, though a very prominent security presence was very comforting (though we did not tour after dark). The area is visually attractive but too full of souvenir shops, rather like New York's Times Square in the1980s. But the hotel itself more than compensated for the lack of neighborhood ambience.
