Summary: Hosted a friends' weekend here. Beautiful house, lots of space, great location (close to trails and a cute downtown, reasonable distance to Asheville). Recommend!

Summary: I had an amazing weekend at this property with some friends. It was clean, spacious and didn't feel overly crowded with eight people. The view was incredible and the amenities were awesome. It's a bit of a hike from Asheville, so you'll need a car to get back and forth (Uber is probably too far) if that's where you're going. Overall, the house looked just like the photos and my group had a fantastic time! The one complaint: weak WiFi.

Summary: Fantastic property! We booked Hummingbird Haven for a long weekend Birthday trip. Home was spotless upon arrival. Kitchen was well stocked. Very nice features including a hot tub with a view, firepit, gas grill and game room with a pool table and ping pong table and various board games. Overall a 10/10. We will be back without a doubt.

Summary: This property was excellent for a getaway with two families — adults and teenagers. Easy access to Black Mountain downtown and Asheville. Beautiful views of the mountains. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of towels were provided. Game room was a lot of fun for adults and teens alike. Only issue was that there weren’t two nice master suites for both sets of adults; one was amazing and the other was a loft or a room that shared a bathroom. I don’t think the listing claimed otherwise though — so no complaints! Otherwise everything was wonderful.

Summary: Lovely property well represented by listing. Gorgeous views and balcony access from every floor. Site is very well stocked with all the comforts of home, including kitchen utensils, equipment and appliances, fireplaces, linens, washer and dryer. As identified by others, internet and cell access very spotty. We were looking to disconnect from all of that, so it was not a problem. Very convenient location, with easy access to highway and 15min to downtown Ashville. Will definitely return.

Summary: Very nice property, but with some major drawbacks. Mountain views are limited by numerous trees and filthy windows in the Great Room. RT 9, below the property, is very noisy making conversation difficult if not impossible at time while sitting on the deck. We expected limited wifi, but what is available is almost non existent. Same with cell coverage. Dining in Black Mountain is scarce. On a positive note, the cabin is well stocked and the AC is a blessing. The game room is also a nice amenity as is DISH TV though a channel guide would be nice. Replacing burned out lights in the Game Room should be a priority..The sofa in the Great Room has seen better days as well as the 5 position couch on the deck.
