Positive: Spacious house with room for our whole family. Well stocked with everything you need. Great to have a washing machine and tumble dryer, plus a drying frame. The fire was lovely and heated the house well. The dogs loved the fenced garden and it was great knowing that they couldn't escape. Close to the AC baths and Spa Park.
Negative: It would have been good to have an extra, small heater in the main bedroom as it got quite cold at night and we didn't want to leave the main fire on all night.
Summary: Comfortable, spacious place to stay with the family and fur-children!

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful place in Taupō! We were a group of 6 adults, 1 child, and 2 dogs, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for us. The house was incredibly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. The outdoor area was lovely and private — plenty of space for the dogs to roam freely, and toys were available to keep the little one happily entertained. It was such a peaceful, quiet spot, perfect for relaxing and spending time together. Vicky, the host, was great with communication and shared all the important info the day before our arrival, which made check-in smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place for families or groups looking for a comfortable and pet-friendly getaway in Taupō!

Positive: Lock box was easy to find. Only thing to mention was that instruction was not provided till the last minute.
Negative: Drive way is down a narrow path. Gate is hard to swing open and shut. Hard to turn the car and hard to reverse back.

Positive: Everything was exceptional apart from a couple of things which I will detail in the next question But overall lovely home to stay at
Negative: 1. Driveway was very narrow at one point But not too much drama 2. There is a step to the master bedroom and I had my elderly parents staying as well My father tripped on the step twice… one fall wasn’t good as he landed on his knees and hands and was in a bit of pain after it 3. Half the light bulbs needed changing as they didn’t work We had to swap out bulbs to ensure the bedrooms had plenty of light
