This newly renovated Victorian home has all the amenities small groups and families may want for their stay in the Portland area. Sitting centrally in Gladstone you are just two blocks from the Charles Ames Memorial City Park on the Clackamas River, and moments from the freeway you can be anywhere in the South Portland region within minutes.
It is rare to find a home built in the gorgeous Victorian style but with an open floor plan and a large primary bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the main level. You will find ample room to relax and enjoy company with each other. Every single piece of furniture and décor is new throughout the home. The goal was to design a home with the travel amenities of a hotel but all the special unique décor, style and comforts of a home you want to be in.
The main level also has a full bath that sits just off the main living, dining, and kitchen area. This includes a new 55" flat screen with integrated Roku to use your Netflix, Hulu, or even Comcast apps. The primary bedroom in back opens up onto a deck which while being convenient also allows in tons of natural light.
Upstairs are the other three bedrooms and the third full bathroom. The bed type breakdown for these bedrooms is one king, one queen, and twin trundle bed which allow eight people to sleep comfortably in beds. The living room couch pulls out in a matter of seconds to create a large sleeping surface easily for two people.
While the home has a suburban feel, it is only a 1-3 block walk to a number of restaurants, bars, pizza, Indian, teriyaki, a little market, and even the Gladstone Library and City Hall. Deux Fen is the nearest winery and it is about a mile away, while Oswego Hills Vineyard is about four miles and is a great place for the entire family. This is also one of the closest properties to downtown Portland without being in a restricted area. Between the convenience of freeway access, the number of amenities close by, and the surrounding beauty of the Clackamas and Willamette Rivers you can't go wrong with your stay here.
PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. Failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. **

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels as we have devices that monitor sustained decible level. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest.

Summary: We found this great place in between my brother and sister’s house.We came in town for my nephew’s wedding. Lots of space for all 10 of us. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and it was close to everything.I had to go to the airport 6 times and it was just 20 minutes away, thankfully! The house has everything you need! Well stocked!Loved the decor in every room! Great walking path down the street too! Would love to book again for my nieces wedding!

Summary: The home is older but quaint and comfortable. The beds and bedding are comfortable and clean. We had a great stay. Lots of details that help with the needs of the family. The upstairs gets a lot warmer than downstairs in the winter. Lastly , it did spell like marijuana whenever we arrived and every now and then when we would leave and come back. Not sure why. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Summary: We rented this home for family overflow for our annual Thanksgiving get together. We had 3 couples, one single and 2 dogs. It was perfect: well decorated, very comfortable beds (so awesome!), a well equipped kitchen, secure backyard for the dogs, and a nice location just a block away from the cute part of Gladstone. The hosts were excellent, communicated well and timely. Check in and out was a breeze. Would highly recommend!

Summary: This home is comfortable and spacious. A modest nice neighborhood with convenient access to the I 205. The house has a parking driveway for 2 cars but it is located on a side street behind the house which creates accessibility problems. The stairs are also difficult for seniors with mobility issues. We enjoyed using the BBQ and family dinners at the large dining table. Family members enjoyed walking to the river park.

Summary: Nice property and location. We had a good time but responsiveness, although quick, was without action. We also arrived to the home closed up and well above 80 degrees. An inviting reception would have had cooling units on. The overwhelming odor of marijuana late at night mentioned in earlier reviews is accurate and left one individual without prooer sleep.

Summary: We stayed here with our 3 grown kids and their SO's and our little dog and it was perfect! Good fenced yard. The house was clean and the living area was fairly spacious. Good value for what would have otherwise required 4 hotel rooms.
