Negative: Doesn't include breakfast, there is a restaurant beside reception where you can order food. Wifi wasn't good in the far away cottage

Positive: Simply stunning place in the middle of a beautiful tropical garden next to the river. Restaurant with an amazing terrace and the best food and drinks in Thailand. The friendliest staff, wonderful excursions. This accommodation is a real gem in Thailand. I absolutely love it here.

Positive: Absolutely stunning location in the jungle but the real gem here are the staff- everything is so well organised and planned. We’ve stayed here two years in a row as we loved our first time here so much. We stayed an extra night via booking.com after booking the 4day 3night jungle grand tour package with the property directly. It includes lots of activities including half day hike in the national park, night safari walk in the jungle with a guide and an overnight trip to the lake. Book it! You won’t be disappointed!

Positive: Lovely setting in the jungle. Next to the river so accessible for lots of river based activities. They arranged an elephant sanctuary trip for us which was brilliant. Food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and very tasty.
Negative: Some of the cottages (F11-F8) were next to the road adjacent to the river where all the river activities exited. As a consequence this road was continuously busy with people/equipment being picked up following their activities and vans were often sat idling whilst waiting for their pickups. This detracted from the feeling of being immersed in the jungle and I would recommend requesting one of the bungalows further from the road which are much more peaceful.

Positive: I loved the aesthetics, the choice of furniture and decor. I loved the way the rooms were arranged. The ac was great. The tv was a lovely smart modern TLC brand tv of a very respectable size. I loved the fridge and supply of fresh bottled own brand water. The supply of towels was lovely. The bedding was brilliantly cosy and a nice heavy thrradcount. I really liked that the images in Bookings.com were actually all recent images and very highly accurate to what i saw and experienced in real life. That was very satisfying. I was anxious perhaps the images were old and now the hotel would be dilapidated.
Negative: I didn’t like the two single beds joined together to make a double. Nobody likes the crease in the middle of the bed. Its very uncomfortable. I didn’t like the stiffness of the mattress, it actually caused several sore areas on my body including my tailbone area this was already sore from a very long 30 hour flight. I didnt like the lack of a bathrobe. I really expected that in what bookings.com said was a 5 star hotel. I also didnt like being originally placed in a room with a view different to what i saw and booked for. I went down the next morning and asked to be moved to the room I intentionally booked for a beautiful view. I was moved without a problem and was told the double bed had not been arranged yet hence my misplacement. Not good enough. I didn’t like the lack of proactive help from the hotel staff to assist with local attractions and things to do. The location seemed to be very boring with not many restaurants or bars within walking distance.

Positive: Nice setting to get connected with nature. Since the property is difficult to reach the staff was very helpful giving instructions on how to contact them to be picked up. They also organize all activities.
Negative: I liked the property but I left with the feeling that I was a tourist having to pay for everything ( which is normal), but this was more like in an attraction park. The property is not a walking distance from the town and therefore they organize 3 times a day a transfer to the town. Other transfers should be paid. Last transfer is at 18h but return is at 18.30 ( in practice you have 15 min before the free trip back). This means that if you decide to stay in town and have dinner there, you will need to pay to get back. And after 8 pm. It is more expensive. We decided to take the free transportation at 18h ( transport left 15 min later). We arrived to town at 18.30 ( time to go back for free). We could not go back because we still needed to find an ATM as the hotel did not accept credit cards. Given the fact that you have no other option than to buy everything in the hotel ( breakfast, dinner, drinks, all trips, transportation) you need to be prepared to have a lot of cash with you.
