Positive: Its located close to the main road leading towards the Khao Sok national park, which makes it easy to rent a scooter and head out. The property itself is surrounded by beautiful nature close to a river. The restaurant offers a great delicious variety of food. The staff was friendly, we booked the lake tour with them and a full day tracking. The lake tour was great, it includes 2h leisure time at the lake where you can either get bored or go for a swim or kayak. The guided trekking tour was ok. Our guide seemed a bit young with only 15 years, and we found the first part of the trail (to Bang Hua Rad), which you can do WITHOUT a guide, was the most interesting as we had all of the animal encounters. We went on to Bang Leab Nam, which you need a guide for and does not necessarily add value to the overall experience. I would recommend renting a scooter to the HQs, doing the non guided tour, and enjoy the nature (there is plenty of guides along the way showing animals to their groups and monkeys roam freely anyway).

Negative: The facilities need to be taken care of a bit more. Our rooms doors and windows were cracked, which was fixed with some stickers, and there is quite a lot of trash around the property (i.e. broken mattresses below one of the bungalows, a shoe, plastic bottles). It has great potential.

Positive: Breakfast was included, option to book tours and scooters at the property, partly nice atmosphere.

Negative: Very close to a main road, only limited free drinking water (600ml per day and person) - thereafter 30 baht per 600ml bottle, the whole property was a bit wasted with demolished camping ground and rubbish laying in the garden, room not very clean, overall quite pricey tours and scooter rental (though the whole area seemed expensive to us). Overall, the staff were not unfriendly but not very welcoming either. We wouldn’t come back.

Negative: The property itself is good value for money, it has everything to be a calm and peaceful stay with friendly pets, sorrounded by nature. What made our stay less pleasant was the lady at the reception. One of the rudest Thai person we have ever encountered, every question we asked her seemed like a huge burden, every time we were arriving at the property or ordering food there she didnt even greeted us, so unfriendly that at times made us feel super uncomfortable. She should really reflect on her attitude and if working in tourism is the right thing for her.
