Summary: I really wanted to say something like “for the price, it was a great stay” but I can’t. We were met by tiny roaches running across the dresser and bathroom floor, the air conditioner took a whole 24hrs before it even began to cool off the room, the carpet was wet, and the sheets smelled like they’d been left 3-4 days in the washer then dried and put on the bed. Breakfast was a choice of a flat pancake-shaped egg with sausage links or stale cereal. They decided to shock the pool in the middle of the day on our first day, so we couldn’t use the pool at all. Check-in lady was super nice, though.

Summary: There were beer caps inside the pool area that had been there so long they left rust marks. The jets in the jacuzzi didn't work. The desk manager said to just get in it anyway. The ice machines were filthy. Lastly, cockroaches throughout the room. I looked at my phone to check the time around 4 am and a small cockroach crawled across my screen, Clearly, this property caters to long term contract companies that are working in and around San Marcos. The parking lot was full of construction equipment that were always gone around sun up. If this property would focus on the bug problems and grounds maintenance, I would consider coming back.

Summary: Dust everywhere, paint chipping, door didn't seal, cleaning staff didn't notice the toilet paper shoved in the peephole from the person before me. No ice bucket, shower was hard water stained on the faucet. Will pay extra to not stay here ever again.

Summary: The location was perfect. Right next to the river. It was super comfortable for my family of four four. And their pool was in good condition too. The gentleman who worked the front desk was lovely and helpful and their breakfast fit all our meat

Summary: This hotel needs many updates and renovations. Not very clean, several small bugs in the room. The employee I interacted with was nice, but just adequate. I would not return here, even if it was free
