Please note: our “Hilltop” home is a 3 bedroom 2 bath with 3 kings that sleeps six max. It’s great to rent for those that want more room or more people. Guests at hilltop are welcome at Lakeside.
Lakeside is our largest and most spacious home. It sets on two lake lots, has a Gazebo and it's very own boat house.
The water side of the home has a massive wrap around porch that seems to invite you to sit and enjoy the lake sunsets and wildlife. Ceiling fans and abundant sitting areas make it the perfect spot to eat or play games.
The landscape is very attractive with a stone walkway leading to the lake and a stunning display of spring Azaleas and various flowering plants. A switch turns on the pump that recirculates lake water from the top of the stone walk. The water cascades down the river, under two small bridges back to the lake. This area abuts a quiet section of the wrap around porch making it the perfect place to enjoy the sound of the water while reading or enjoying coffee and family conversation.
The home faces west and the sunsets are phenomenal. The trees provide shade and the many fans cool the outside temperatures. Of course, a dip in the lake will help keep you cool off even more.
The 7 bedrooms and large upper game-room accommodate groups up to (but not exceeding) 18.
The large kitchen offers plentiful seating for your group. Local catering is available upon request for those days you don't feel like cooking.
In addition, the upstairs game-room has a mini fridge, sink and microwave. It even has a separate entrance front and back of the home.
Lakeside has a gas grill connected to a large tank so running out of propane is not an issue.
Please look at our 3d floor plans for layout of the home. It does have a washer/dryer, two refrigerators, televisions in every bedroom (one needs to bring a usb supported streaming device)
The home has wireless internet, with Netflix in the L.R. and Game room.
All linens and towels are provided.
The Kitchen offers a Kuerig (bring kcups) regular coffee maker (we offer coffee and filters) and a good assortment of utensils in the kitchen.
The outside decks, docks and covered porches are too numerous to list but, you can see them in the pictures!
The covered boathouse offers a slip with plenty of tie offs for multiple boats, there are GFCI protected outlets for charging batteries. There's a roomy covered sitting area with lights, fans as well as a large attached dock is the perfect place for that cool lake swim or catching some rays.
Utilize the provided kayaks and assorted boats and explore this hidden gem of a lake. We are located in a cove far enough away from the main lake where wave action and boat noise is almost non existent.

Summary: It fit our needs with plenty of room for all 12 of us. The kids fished constantly….unfortunately only one bass was caught but they kept trying. S’mores at the fire pit, family pictures with wonderful sunsets and lots of memories. Perfect for large groups or families.

Summary: We had a small family reunion. The property was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of rooms and space for us all. Wrap around porch was shaded and cool, perfect for morning coffee with a great view of the lake. Boathouse/dock was perfect for swimming and fishing. Enough kayaks and life jackets for all. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

Summary: This lake home was perfect for our family trip. We loved the layout of the home and all the outdoor sitting areas. The landscape of the home was absolutely gorgeous and the kayaks were so much fun! We would definitely recommend this home. The host was very accommodating and offered solutions for parking for our large family. We had several other inconveniences (for the host) that they were more than happy to help with. I can’t say enough about how perfect our stay was!

Summary: We were in the area for my father’s celebration of life and needed a spot that was large enough to accommodate our entire family of 16 as we all wanted to be under one roof. This place easily accommodated us all allowing for space for privacy as needed. Given that we had four families this was important. The views were beautiful as well. The kids did complain about the weakness of the internet but it was kind of nice to be off grid so to speak. Perhaps our only complaints were the lack of enough towels for all of us, at least where we could find them, and the distance to a grocery store. Otherwise, it was excellent and allowed us to lay our father to rest in a peaceful way without worry that we’d need to be spread out all over the area and could all be together. Thanks y’all!

Summary: I truly want to give this property a bad rating just so no one else will stay here and I can more often but that is truly selfish!! It's a great place for the family and friends to get away from it all and reconnect with each other. There is plenty of room to all be together without being on top of each other.

Summary: Our Girl Scouts troop and moms had an amazing time at this lake house! The girls kayaked and swam all day, loved the loft/bunk bed area. There was plenty of room for our large group, and especially loved the wraparound deck with so many tables and chairs. The house had everything we needed and was so comfortable. We would absolutely stay there again!
