6 Bedroom House in Muri, Muri Beach

Bring your whole family, your work team, your wedding group or just a few friends and enjoy this private, spacious house by the beautiful Muri Lagoon.
The once famous Flametree Restaurant has been fully renovated by new owners in to a modern six-bedroom, 5 bathroom house where everyone has room to relax. This rambling single level villa, with easy access and large living spaces, is situated in Muri village with the beach and village (with cafes, restaurants and convenience stores) right on your doorstep.
A distinctive feature of the house is the large covered deck over the flowing stream (where unique fish life can be viewed), ideal for functions or simply enjoying the shade and the wonderful climate of Rarotonga. Or step through the gate, 50m along the park and you are on the lagoon where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking in our double kayak provided, snorkeling, paddle-boarding or relaxing in the sun and you will love being in or lounging beside the swimming pool.
The house has six large bedrooms accommodating up to 15 people. We have one large accessible double bedroom with an ensuite accessible bathroom including hand rails and shower seat.
Each room has it's own external access for privacy and convenience. The beds are all king-sized that can be converted to twin singles - most rooms have plenty of space for extra beds and cots as well. Three of the bedrooms have en-suites, the other three rooms share two generous, fully appointed bathrooms.
We have a spacious car port where those cars, bikes and scooters can be parked safely undercover.
The house has all new beds and modern appliances including generous fridge and freezer space for groups. This is the ideal place for group accommodation for weddings, reunions, corporate events or any other special occasion. Full dining facilities for up to 50 people are available onsite including seating, tables, tableware and linen. (Arrangements can be made on request).

Summary: Nice and comfortable. Easy access to tourist attractions. Nice and close to Te Vara Nui, Muri Market Tamatoas and other tourist shops. Advised by locals not to swim at Muri beaches. My kids got skin infections and sore ears.

Summary: Flametree Villa was a perfect match for our group of friends. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed all of the swimming and equipment. It is an easy stroll to so many delicious eateries, which made our holiday even more relaxed. We are now planning our return trip.

Summary: The most ideal stay for a larger group. All rooms were big and plenty of towels and sheets were provided. Great location and pool, amazing outdoor area. Very friendly and inviting managers! Had the best stay!

Summary: Spent a week with a family group of adults and kids ranging from 6 - 60. Cindy and Mike made us feel right at home in their beautiful Muri Beach house. The property is a short walk from the lagoon and came with access to beach shoes, snorkel gear, and kayaks so you can really make the best of it. The outside deck area is a great area to relax and always seems to catch the breeze to cool things down. We definitely hope to be back.

Summary: Lovely located at the beautiful Muri beach Good size of house for group gathering! But during our stay there wasn’t enough water for big group like they said up to 15 people comfortably, we were very disappointed having to showered with cold water most of the time or no water at all because the water pressure was so slow.. we couldn’t wash our hair so have to go to the hair salon to was our hair! I think they need to look at getting the water system sorted. Also the two outdoor bathroom has no hot water as well during our stay! No wifi at the house some of us had to work during our stay it’s best to get your own SIM card during your stay
