Summary: We loved our stay at Te Vakaroa! We had an upstairs two bedroom villa with an awesome view across the lagoon to the ocean… walk out the front past the pool and your on the sand and swimming! Two bedrooms, two bathrooms upstairs, another toilet down stairs with a washer and dryer.. big lounge area and balcony.. right next door to the sailing club with cafe bar… a short walk to the pacific resort or nautilus where we went for food and cocktails… Awesome location and we are booking again for next year, loved it!

Summary: The hotel’s location is great, with convenient transportation and many good restaurants within walking distance, especially with a night market right next door. However, the hotel’s facilities are quite outdated, and the cleanliness of the rooms is average. There is even a leakage issue with the ceiling. The breakfast options are limited, making the value for money quite average for the price. Not highly recommended.

Summary: Absolutely loved our stay here. The villas are modern and clean. Only 6 in the complex so does not get overcrowded. Daily breakfasts delivered to our villa were superb - fresh fruit, muesli and even choc croissants!!! Beach few steps away, lovely pool, and spa. Washing machine and dryer if you need it, night markets short walk away. Poko and Nick were fabulous hosts. Poko even allowed us a late checkout which was greatly appreciated. Our stay was not long enough and cannot wait to return.
