Summary: Room was pretty and hotel is very conveniently located. Cleaning/housekeeping was spotless. Staff were very friendly. Restaurant downstairs serves delicious food, good value, and staff are great. We thoroughly enjoyed a weekend in Sofia - there was plenty to do in terms of sightseeing, shopping, dining etc, and we found it much less expensive than most other European capitals. Highly recommended taking a walking tour with a local to see some hidden gems. On the other side of things - some aspects of the hotel are run down/poorly maintained. The elevator wasn’t working, black out curtains couldn’t be properly closed, shower heads weren’t working as they should, and the air con was weirdly located so one side of the room was freezing while the other was very hot.

Summary: The room was huge compared to so many European hotels. Being on the pedestrian street was amazing and the room was quiet. Sofia is a beautiful and vibrant city and this hotel is the perfect place to explore it from.
