Positive: Wonderful location at the beach; lovely staff; nice and clean bungalows and amazing food ! Loved everything about Lily's Beach Bungalows . Best place to stay on the North side of the island if you are looking for something unique in the middle of nature. 10/10!!

Positive: The location is beautiful, in lonely beach, a quiet and clean beach in the north of the island. The staff is super kind. The Bungalow is comfortable and chill. The fact that there’s no energy and internet was amazing to really connect to the nature and relax. The restaurant offers good options with good prices during the whole day.
Negative: Because there’s no electricity, there isn’t also a fan. In some nights with no wind can be very hot and humid. Wasn’t a problem for me, but just be sure of what you’re booking to not complain later.

Positive: - very nice and clean beach - food was very decent and fresh seafood available every day, not one meal on the menu we wouldn’t recommend - very friendly staff - good size of bungalow, mosquito net in very good condition - beautiful scenery overall, nice sunsets and overall „good vibe“
Negative: - only possible to pay in cash - no light / electricity in bungalow (light in the bathroom worked, most days you could charge your phone in common area) - would highly recommend to open a scooter rental / make it possible to rent scooters on lilys beach because otherwise you have to walk 40/50 min to next village to rent scooters

Positive: I loved the time I stayed at Lily’s! The beach is really ‘lonely’ but in the good way! The beds are comfortable, the bungalow’s are pretty, everyone is friendly,… I would recommend 100% if you like a quiet place! For me the shower was not an issue, but this depends person to person :)

Positive: This is the best beach we've seen on the island. The guesthouse is lovely, with Khmer-style bungalows, which makes it feel like an immersive experience. The room is very clean and cozy! It's clear that the owner pays a lot of attention to the cleanliness and comfort of their guests. Ambre, the owner, is very sweet. She is French, and the energy of the guesthouse is very family-like. You can tell that the small team is very close-knit, and it feels like being at home. Also, a big thank you for the cooking – the chef is very talented, and special congratulations for the fish and chips! The boat tour is also a must-do! It’s very affordable and a lot of fun. We visited 3 spots to see the fish with a mask and snorkel. Highly recommended! I’m not usually one to give glowing reviews, but this place truly deserves it! I highly recommend it if you're looking for a paradisiacal holiday. This side of the beach is very quiet and not well-known, which allows you to experience the perfect "lost island" vibe. Plus, there are hammocks everywhere!

Positive: The bungalows are new and clean and right on the beach. The beach and location is so incredibly beautiful with amazing sunsets! It also seems to be more protected from the wind than most other beaches on the island. Some days it was very quiet, some days it was a little busier with visitors but still very quiet. At night time there’s only a few people there. It’s really a lovely place tucked away, you won’t find much entertainment but if you’re looking to relax and enjoy the sounds of the ocean then this is the place. We really enjoyed the food! If you’re staying somewhere remote it’s important to have easy access to nice food. The owners are very nice and accommodating and the volunteer Rapha brought a lot of warmth and personality to Lily’s.
Negative: Neither of these things are negatives for us at all- but it’s more of an FYI. The bathrooms have bucket showers, which were really easy and clean to use and the water didn’t feel cold. The road to access Lonely Beach/the Bungalows is tricky. If you’re arriving by tuk tuk I’d expect you’d stay on the resort for your time there as you would have to walk a good bit (I’m guessing 30 minutes) from tuk tuk access. If you’re arriving by motorbike just be aware it’s doable but much of the road isn’t paved so we did a little exploring around the island during the day but returned before dark. We stayed here for 3/6 nights and it was a great place to stay put!

Positive: The location is beautiful, you are surrounded by nature and a beautiful beach. The restaurant was already opened and we could enjoy nice, not too expensive food every day. The owners are really nice and helpful with everything you need. The cabins are really nicely done, new. Don’t worry too much about the “Cambodian shower” (a bucket with water), it will be fine! You will be all the time in the beach anyways. Every night we went out to see the plankton at the beach which is just wonderful. We also were not bothered at all by the boat tours or the people coming and going, it still felt pretty private. At night, it is a pleasure to listen to the waves. We also had 4G connection our whole stay and were able to have video calls with family (there is no WiFi though but yeah you still have connection in this side of the beach!)
Negative: The accommodation is pretty new and isolated and therefore the road getting in and out is a bit messy and difficult. We could rent a motorbike in the town nearby but still had to walk 40min through the forest when we returned it. I wish the hotel had motorbikes themselves so this wouldn’t have to happen (but like I said, they are new so I’m sure they are working on it!). If you can’t drive or don’t want to drive this difficult road, you can either stay only in this beach (which is great anyways) or walk 20 min + order a tuk tuk. Unfortunately as they are still constructing the bungalows, we were awaken every morning around 7-8 am by loud noises (hammering etc) which is not ideal when you want to be in a beach paradise and just sleep out. I guess at one point they will be done with all the cabins, but I wish they would have at least started a bit later to work on them to let the guests rest.
