Positive: Stunning property, I don’t know what else would be needed to say it’s perfect.
Negative: I stayed here as a solo traveler and felt like I was ignored and alienated every time I visited the restaurant. Customer service was non existent as I had to go to the bar every time to order when other couples and groups always had prompt table service. I also had to go to the bar a second time to ask why it was taking so long to get me a beer. A group of people who ran the quizzes and morning yoga sessions really mocked my accent and the way I spoke and made assumptions about me for being British. Being on my own, this made me feel so alienated and lonely and on top of feeling like I had to beg for bare minimum service this experience with them just ruined my evening. For a young solo traveler like myself, I did feel like the odd one out at this resort.

Negative: We didn't like food.... Too American and not typical as you wish to have in a place like that... Not easy to swim but with a bike you can go everywhere Prices are slight too high for what you have

Negative: A bit of a mission from the wharf up a very rocky road but after that it was great and well sign posted.

Positive: Nice, secluded place by the sea, with a pier with fishing ships and a small, local "grocery", almost like a (very) small village. You are there for the tranquillity and quite far away from other places (restaurants, resorts etc.). Good cabins with the necessary mosquito-net and fans (but no AC). There is big tide at this place, and you can always swim, but do not expect waters like at Sok San or Long/Long Set Beaches, so kids would love to go exploring at the low tide. Very helpful staff and the reception area where you hang around is cosy and just overlooking the sea and the shore and daze in the sunbeds under the palms is great.

Positive: Very secluded and nice area if you want to relax and stay only there for a few days. We were also able to swim out at night and see the luminous plankton by ourselves. Great system for paying in a group! We were able to have two tabs and pay at the end of our stay.
Negative: Always trying to get more money out of us. They weren’t transparent through the booking process so had to pay a 5% online fee. Any recommendations around the island/how to get to our next location weren’t great. The price they quoted us was double of what we ended up paying to get to our next place. They don’t have any water refill which was surprising as it meant we were using so much plastic. The food was okay, bread was lovely but everything else a bit half hearted. (They wanted to charge extra for putting butter ontop of toast) They also didn’t message us with information about the booking/how to get to them/how much taxis were until the day we were travelling to them.

Positive: This is a beautiful place for the young as well as for the young-at-heart. Charming (with a pinch of salt😀) Dutch couple who own the place and wonderful staff, always smiling and warm-hearted. Bit of a hostel flair, though comfortable, clean and welcoming in every respect. Take the slow ferry straight to the resort, don’t take the speed boat, much more complicated journey.
Negative: We had to leave on our last day.
