Positive: Location was excellent and we loved the traditional feel of the locale. The host was very helpful and provided great tips on eating places and getting around Lisbon.
Negative: Booking.com could have flagged up the payment terms more clearly. This would not have put me off but would have avoided embarrassment on arrival.

Positive: The apartment is in a great location with bars and restaurants near by. within 5 minutes walk a beautiful terrace with a great view across downtown Lisbon... within 20 minutes stroll you reach the inner city. Anabela has been a great host with plenty of tips and recommendations for attractions.... or you just explore the city by yourself. The apartment is self sufficient with a central living room, a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. Although the building is quite old, the apartment is in top condition.
Summary: Great stay for a few days near the heart of Lisbon.

Positive: The communication from Angela was exceptional. Her daily suggestions of things to do and see were very helpful. The apartment is well equipped, homely and a good base for exploring. Ubers are not expensive, a good idea when arriving and leaving to avoid the cobbled streets if you have luggage. €5 from the St Apolinia train station and €10 to the Airport. Or €6.80 for a 24 hour daily travel card that covers train, bus, tram, funicular, and the Santa Justa Lift - buy at the Metro.
