We greatly appreciated the ample parking space provided, especially considering the surrounding areas are challenging to navigate by car due to very narrow streets. The property provided excellent comfort levels with well-maintained facilities that met all our needs. The attention to detail in the accommodation setup was evident, creating a relaxing environment perfect for unwinding after days of exploration. Access to the owners' swimming pool was a wonderful bonus that added tremendous value to the stay. This thoughtful gesture provided a perfect way to cool off and relax without having to travel, making the property feel like a true retreat. The property offers a beautifully peaceful setting, ideal for those seeking tranquility and escape from busy tourist areas. While the nearest beach requires approximately a 20-minute walk over somewhat rocky terrain (sturdy footwear recommended), the serene location more than compensates for this minor inconvenience. This accommodation delivered an outstanding vacation experience that will be remembered fondly for years to come. Positive: Really well appointed and comfortable stay. The holiday home is really nicely finished and everything he been thought about. Well stocked Kitchen, loads of storage, tv, washing machine, balcony with table and sofa - all very comfortable and easy on the eye. Hosts were very accommodating and kind.
Negative: No fault of the hosts the area is a bit run down. We stopped here for 3 nights of a road trip and while we were super comfortable the general area doesn’t have a lot to offer. Quite industrial and run down wider area. The house is set in a lovely location surrounded by pine trees but drive out of the village looking for more and we were left wanting. We thought the proximity to the coast would mean lots of amazing beaches and a nice restful easy 3 days. In reality the calanques are very small and difficult to access by car. Some are beautiful but not worth a half day in our opinion. The larger beaches near by were very crowded. We visited magic park land 5 minutes away which was fun for an hour or two for our kids (8+11) Local village was cut with supermarket and Boulangerie that kept us well fed. All in all a lovely place to stay with great hosts but area wasn’t enough for our 3 day stop.
