Bright cozy loft with large living room and kitchen that open onto the covered furnished terrace overlooking the large garden. It comfortably accommodates 6 people. Furnished and equipped, air conditioning, wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, every comfort. Extremely silent, in one of the few remaining neighborhoods of old Milan. The street overlooks the church of San Cristoforo and the Navigli. In a few minutes on foot you can reach Via Tortona and the Design District, the Museum of Cultures, the Vicolo dei Lavandai, the Darsena, Porta Ticinese. Well connected to Piazza Duomo in the center by tram and bus. The metro stations of Porta Genova and Romolo are within walking distance.
In addition to the terrace, guests can enjoy the garden owned by a few condominiums, equipped with tables, chairs and deck chairs ideal for relaxing.

Summary: The pictures are very accurate of the space. The ceilings are high (which is hard to tell form the pictures) making it feel very spacious. There are lots of plant inside and outside. The mosquitos were unbearable at the time of our visit so we couldn't really use the outside. We also needed to water some of the plants during our stay. The air-conditioning was unable to keep the space cool during the hot summer time we visited. Mara was a gracious host trying to help us with things we needed and was responsive.

Summary: I have rented many VRBOs and am quite good at ascertaining the general vibe from the pictures. Mara's modest- but lovely! - old world apartment is exactly what I expected and wanted. Her garden on the terrace is just perfect for morning coffee or otherwise relaxing. The main bed was very comfortable (important to me!) and there is a dishwasher and washing machine. It was extremely hot in Milan when my friend and I were there -- the heat doesn't bother me, but note the air conditioning is not up to a big heat wave. The location is absolutely perfect -- an easy tram to everything two blocks away. If you are looking to live for a bit like a local in Navigli, this is perfect. My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Beautiful terrace with plants (open air, no screens), nicely decorated with art. Mara was very welcoming and helpful. We appreciated having coffee and soap bars and nice towels in bathrooms. We missed that there was A/C and so it was warm and a little stuffy at night. Staircase to upstairs bedroom is narrow with no railing on one side but that was manageable. Sitting area, the balcony and kitchen were all very nice. We appreciated Mara calling a taxi for us when time to go. It was really fun walking along the canal and watching the rowers. Our daughter who’s a runner liked running along the canal. There was a very good restaurant nearby on the canal along with some more casual ones. Real convenient to have a trolley stop close by too.

Summary: Mara is excellent! Her place is very roomy and easy to get into and get around Milan from. Her lovely deck and green space she is next to gives the impression and feeling that one is next to a large garden. Her location was easy to find as we drove into Milan. The Tram that took us to the Duomo is only 2 blocks away. And there are several restaurants and a market nearby for all needs. Thank you, Mara!!

Summary: Mara was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival. Communication was great and she answered all our questions and gave us recommendations of the area. The space worked out wonderful for the 4 adults traveling together. The patio is beautiful and a welcome cool place to relax on a hot day. I would love to have the opportunity to go back to Milan and would absolutely contact Mara first. Thanks for an amazing Italian experience Mara.

Summary: This is a cozy comfortable apartment with a gracious and helpful host. It was our last stop in a 3 week tour of Italy and the best part of this stay was the outdoor terrace. The terrace is large and includes a table for 4, comfortable seating and plenty of plants for privacy...a very nice outdoor space. The bedrooms are small but downstairs has a private full bath and upstairs uses the bath on the email floor. Close to a supermarket and there is a great Sicilian coffee shop and wonderful Bolognese restaurant (da Mauro) nearby.

Summary: Owner is gracious and very responsive to email and all requests. The space is very clean/open/inviting and a pleasure to stay. We traveled with a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 teenagers. More than enough space for all of us. I hope to saty here again in the future. Also, anything you need is a short walk from groccery stroee/dining/trolly line 2 that brings you to duomo . I genualy recimend staying here
