Logan Springs Ranch is 142 acres of trees, trails, creeks and springs. A beautiful property for hiking, fishing or just relaxing. There is NO hunting allowed on this property. The 2140 sq. ft. home sits on top of hill overlooking a 5 acre lake. The back deck and screened in porch offer wonderful views of the lake and property. Lake and 2 ponds for catch and release fishing. Trails throughout the property are great for hiking and exploring.
Two kayaks, pedal boat, and two person bass boat with trolling motor, along with life vests, are available for use.
Seldom do you find a property that offers access to 142 wooded acres with trails for hiking and a lake for fishing. The house was recently remodeled with all new appliances and top of the line finishes. It has two master bedrooms, each with a private bath and very comfortable king size beds. The sunroom has two sleeper sofas for extra guests. There are two big screen TVs so you can watch the game while the children watch cartoons. The covered deck allows BBQ in all weather and the screened in porch allows you to enjoy the outdoors without the bugs. There is a plant nearby that at times will have some level of noise. We have no control when those times are. You cannot hear it inside the house.
Wi-fi is available but may be slow. Service quality varies depending on the provider; Verizon works best. There is a land phone line with unlimited long distance to ensure reliable communication.
Deposit:
Very sorry for the deposit requirement. Due to some past issues, we had to implement that policy. The cleaning fee is for the house interior only. The deposit includes the exterior. We want to refund your deposit, so please return boats, life vests and kayaks to their correct stored location, put boat covers back on boats, no outside litter, no trash left on dock, in general follow the instructions in the booklet left for you and return the location to the way you found it please. Thank you very much for your understanding and support to keep the ranch nice for the next guests.

You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, hiking and use of the boats and kayaks and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming, hiking and the use of boats and kayaks may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming, hiking or using the kayaks if a person has health risks, or if a person swims, hikes or uses the boats and kayaks while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, hiking or using the boats and kayaks. Summary: The home is really done well. It is comfortable with everything needed and includes some impressive animal mounts. The property is fantastic with many great trails for hiking through the wooded terrain. Saw a deer and wood ducks and evidence of a lot of hog and deer movement. Unfortunately, weather turned out to be below freezing during our stay so we didn't utilize as much as we would have liked. The gas plant was burning off something one day, so it was a little loud for a few hours, but it didn't last and as mentioned, you can't hear inside. We hope to get back there... really impressive.

Summary: The extra acreage is great - planned to walk all of it but only got to about 3/4 of it. Quiet road and so if you want to walk on the road you can do that as well. Everything worked well other than A/C seemed to not want to get too cold (but I like it under 70 at night as a side note). Great equipment for the lake and LOTS of nice bluegill. Easy drive to town to eat as well as groceery store 5mins away.

Summary: We have stayed at Logan Springs Ranch before. Both times we have been totally impressed by the ability of the home owner and manager to make us feel welcomed as if we were family. The house is always ready to receive guests. Everything is clean, available and stocked. We wanted for nothing but more time. We celebrate our life long childhood friends/family by gathering to reflect and relax. This is the place. This will definitely become our annual destination. Thank you for having us.

Summary: So many beds and bathrooms for parents and kids, down to pack and play for babies. I wouldn’t let my toddler crawl on this floor before mopping it but patio overlooking lake had screened in porch and gated open porch. Fabulous boating, hiking, fishing (we each caught 2 bluegill fish!) Plant noise next door was a constant hum outside until we hiked down to a lower elevation. Cutest city cafe and gift shop- only 10 minute drive.

Summary: Our stay here was phenomenal and much needed! It was so peaceful and quiet (minus the noise of the mill near by). Our kids had a blast, fishing was great, evenings playing games...! Just what we all needed to unplug, unwind, and enjoy each other. The house and property are beautiful. It was clean, spacious for being just 2 bedrooms. I love the added security of the locking front gate. Will definitely stay again!!

Summary: We loved our stay. The house was amazing. The scenery is beautiful. We caught lots of fish. It’s catch and release so the kids had fun throwing them back into the water. The kayaks and paddle boat were awesome. If you have kids bring indoor toys for bad weather or after dark. There’s not any we saw provided and the WiFi isn’t the best for the location so it helps to keep little ones occupied. Which was a good thing because we were looking to unwind and unplug. Everything worked well. The property manager was very prompt and helpful with any questions we had. There is a hum from the plant so complete quiet didn’t happen outside but the beauty of the place made up for it. You can not hear it inside. It wasn’t super loud and we were able to still hear birds etc. We definitely recommend this place and we will be back.
