Ocean Place is located on beautiful Amelia Island which boasts some of the most beautiful beaches and golf courses in Florida. Ocean Place at Summer Beach is one of the most beautiful properties on the island and is located in the exclusive gated community of Summer Beach Resort right next door to the world-renowned Ritz Carlton Amelia Island Hotel and Spa. At the Ritz, you may enjoy fine dining, spa treatments, tennis, golf and shopping.
This beautiful two bedroom, two bath, 5th floor condominium is located directly on the beach and provides spectacular views and incredible sunrises. This condominium recently had a total renovation. Our condo truly does feel like a second home rather than 'rental condo', because we want our guest to feel like they are at home. Sleep with the doors open and listen to the crashing waves and see the moon from your bed. Then arise in the morning to the most beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. You can sit out on the deck, and while having your morning coffee, watch the dolphins and sea gulls having their morning breakfast behind the shrimp boats.
Downtown in Fernandina, you will find the oldest seaport in the U.S. which has a rich heritage and has been under eight different flags. My family loves to stroll around downtown, especially at night among the lighted trees and visit the quaint shops and wonderful restaurants. Especially fun, is a horse and buggy ride tour of historic Fernandina. Additionally, there are jet skis, para-sails, and inland/offshore fishing charters available for hire. A short ferry ride can take you to beautiful Cumberland Island, the only national sea shore on the East Coast. We love knowing that out guests are here making memories to last a lifetime.

Summary: I think this is our third visit to this property. Feels like home with a great view of the ocean. Quaint shops nearby with wonderful restaurants. Enjoyable vacation even tho interrupted by Hurricane Helene. Still never felt unsafe (building is well built with very sturdy hurricane doors/windows). The host is very responsive on times we had questions. Very enjoyable trip.

Summary: This unit was more than I had expected. It was very clean and cozy. There was plenty of room for 3 grown ladies to spend the week without feeling crowded. The balcony was our favorite place when we were not at the beach. The beach was easily accessible. The kitchen was stocked with more dishes, pots and pans than any other VRBO I have ever stayed in before. I would definitely think of staying here age.

Summary: This unit is a one of a kind. It is updated, clean, and well cared for. We had excellent communication with the owner throughout the entire booking process all the way until checkout. Quiet beach location, not over crowded like some beaches, which is perfect for nice getaway. Great location to grocery, shopping, and local eats! This place checked all of our boxes so we will definitely be staying again!

Summary: The condo feels like home. It is well appointed in a very nice area on the island. We listened to the waves as a lullaby, enjoyed cocktails on the balcony and a beautiful sunrise every morning. Every morning started with a beach walk. Our host was amazing and available. We cooked in the kitchen some nights and everything we needed at our fingertips. There is a very nice grocery store close by. The bedrooms are beautiful with comfy beds and lovely linens. Thank you, we will see you again soon!
