Summary: We watched polar lights, visited a lava tunnel and Reykjavik. The house is a perfect base for all this and a lot of more activities. Simply perfect.

Summary: We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay our first four days/nights in Iceland. This home had all of the amenities we could have asked for and more. It was a great location for touring all over the southern regions of Iceland. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: The owners were incredibly gracious with our impacted travel plans and once we finally made it we were ecstatic when we pulled up to the house. It is not quite as remote as the pictures might tend to make you believe. We spent a lot of time in Selfoss which is a short 20 or so minute drive. We also used the couple of small grocery options within ten minutes just about everyday. Over the course of our stay I think we made it to every attraction on the golden circle we had planned. The home was lovely, quit, secluded and comfortable. It was perfect.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay since both the house and the location are excellent. It is a perfect location for making day trips around south Iceland (e.g. Westman Islands, south coast waterfalls, Golden Circle). The house is very clean and functional. There are 3 bedrooms and was more than enough space for our family of 4. The location is very peaceful and a great place to unwind and cook dinner after sightseeing. Highly recommend!!
