Newly built stunning 3 bedroom log cabin that accommodates 6 people and has wheelchair friendly facilities and underfloor heating throughout. Set on stunning Lilypot farm in Bonvilston, which is a lovely village in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan, just outside Cardiff.
The location is perfect for all types of traveller, with the Capital City of Wales a ten minute drive away, where you can experience a vibrant, modern European city.
Cardiff International Airport is 15 minutes away by car, for those travellers wanting convenient access to air travel. Many beaches are close by, with the beautiful seaside resort of Barry a short car ride away and the nearby historic market town of Cowbridge close by, providing quant boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants.
The accommodation is both spacious and comfortable. The large master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the two further bedrooms with two single beds in each.
The large central living area is provided with floor to ceiling windows, that frame the spectacular views in all directions, from the Beacon Beacons mountains in one direction to the Bristol channel and beyond in the opposite direction.There are two large reclining sofas, LED television, Wi-Fi and a large modern table that seats six people.

Summary: The property is perfect. It's got loads of space inside and out. It is clean and homey. We really enjoyed coffee on the terrace in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. A lovely retreat after a busy day. Graham and his wife were delightful hosts, encoiraging us yo walk the property and eat the fruit from the trees. Would highly recommend this property. You do need a car but it's worth it!!

Summary: I was looking for a few days away with the family and came across this log cabin. From the moment I saw the photos and new it was perfect. It is a beautifully log cabin on a working farm, near Cardiff and close to Barry. It has everything required for a lovely break and there is plenty of parking. The scenery is stunning, and was lovely to enjoy the quiet with a morning cuppa. It is well-planned out with excellent amenities, including one en-suite double room, 2 twin rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and large wet-room. The lounge/diner is very spacious and airy, with full-length windows and was cosy. The owner, Graham was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a brilliant time and we'd definitely return. Thank you for a fabulous few days away at this special place.

Summary: Property location is given as a postcode which covers the village area, however found easily enough! Great location, isolated with great views, with Graham popping along to check if all ok! Great property with all needs, one double en-suite and a great shower room, very clean on arrival. Short trip to Barry Island and a great day out in Cardiff which is easily to get to! Pub in village the Red Lion, excellent food at an amazing price for the size of portions, well recommended! A great stay with Graham popping by to see if we were all happy! Great host.

Summary: Graham was an amazing host, what a special holiday. The lodge was even better than we imagined and Graham was absolutely fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Summary: Property was lovely, beautiful views and very clean apart from a bit dusty in places, but that didn't really matter as the bathrooms and kitchen were very clean which was most important. The property is even nicer than it looks in the photos. It was generously stocked with more toilet roll, kitchen items and things like shower gel etc. than I would have expected from a holiday rental. The bed was big and comfortable and the hosts very friendly and helpful. We had a very nice weekend stay with our baby, unfortunately the weather stopped us exploring the farm as much as we would have liked

Summary: We have just had a lovely 3 night break at this beautiful lodge at Lillypot Farm. The views are stunning and you don't get the full panorama of it from the photos. We sat out on the veranda by the front door at breakfast and late into the evening just enjoying the peace and the views. The owners house is a short distance away and they were delightful and very welcoming. The lodge itself is spacious with 2 twin bed rooms and a queen sized big double room with ensuite. We didn't sit indoors much as it was so nice outside but my daughters enjoyed the reclining sofas. We are already missing the pony which is in the field opposite the lodge. We ate out at The Red Lion just down the road and the food was really good and staff very friendly. The lodge is really close to Barry and Cardiff and there is a big Tesco Extra just up the road so the location is perfect. We all loved it.

Summary: Property clean and maintained to a very high standard. Accomodation exactly as described. The pictures dont do justice and is infact nicer. On a farm and is very relaxed. Very kind thoughtful considerate friendly owner - thank you for having us. Cardiff easily accessible. TESCO extra is within 3-4 miles and so are some fast food places including a fantastic fish and chips place down the road. Overall 5 stars and we would love to stay again if visiting the South
