Welcome to On Beach Time! This quaint Folly Beach home overlooks the Folly River- a natural marsh where lots of native and migratory birds live. Spend time fishing on the dock or sunning on the back deck. Just steps from beach access, this single family home is the perfect couples retreat or family vacation destination. Now featuring a brand new luxury Swim Spa in the back yard.
The living room area has plenty of comfortable, plush seating with a corner sectional sofa. Watch movies or the big game on the large flat-screen TV. The recently renovated, fully stocked kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a dining table for 4. Hardwood floors carry throughout the home.
The primary bedroom is spacious and bright with a king bed and TV. The guest room is furnished with 2 full beds and a TV.
The full front wrap around porch leads to the large back deck where you can catch the breathtaking sunsets over the marsh. Use the private dock for fishing or kayaking. The enclosed parking area under the house has plenty of room to store your boat and trailer.
Go into the Folly Beach downtown area, just 2.5 miles away, to wander through local shops, markets (seasonal & holidays), listen to live entertainment, and eat at one of our local restaurants. All restaurants and shops are open year-round. Get out on the water to take a fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling, or dolphin watching tour from a licensed guide. Surfing lessons are available through several companies and instructors. Find the local and tourist favorite, the Morris Island Lighthouse beach at the far east end of the island for wow-worthy photos!
Downtown Charleston is only a 25 minute drive away. Enjoy strolling or taking a carriage ride through historic scenery. Charleston offers world-class restaurants, boutique shopping, tours specializing in history, ghosts, and culinary arts, art galleries, souvenir shopping down the Market area, and so much more! Walk along the harbor at The Battery, Waterfront Park, or go off the beaten path to find cobblestone streets and Rainbow Row. Take the kids to the South Carolina Aquarium or the Kids Museum. Several theaters around town host plays, concerts, and comedy shows. There's always plenty to do!
Parking in the driveway can fit up to 4 vehicles. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, outdoor shower, central heat and air conditioning, and $250 beach gear credit perk.
Property is strictly non-smoking. Home is pet-friendly with a $125 plus tax non-refundable pet fee, per pet, paid directly to the property management company after booking. Summary: Great vacation spot! House had an amazing view, was close to everything that Folly had to offer. My only complaint was that the bathroom water temp was chilly. It wasn’t until the 3rd day that I figured out I could turn the water heater up easily.

Summary: My husband and I stayed here with our dog. We were very comfortable, greatly enjoyed the view from the back porch, and would happily stay here again. Just a couple houses down from a walk-out public beach access that was extremely convenient!

Summary: The house was nice and clean. The kitchen could use more staples like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and better chairs. The king bed in the single bedroom takes up the room and is so high, it is difficult to get in bed, no place to sit. The living room is small but cozy. The TV is too large considering the space to the couch. Furniture better designed for the space should be considered. The small front bathroom is a waste of space. The swim spa was really nice, as was the yard and marsh view.

Summary: This was a clean and cozy place, could walk across to beach (turn right out of driveway and walk to first little wooden pier because the beach access to the left is washed out currently. It’s just a minute little walk). We enjoyed having the marshland behind us and beach in front because we could hear the waves from the beach and also enjoy the sunset in the back at night- great starry nights on clear nights. It was clean, we were able to watch streaming channels like Hulu/Netflix on smart tv, and it was close drive to Center street with restaurants and shops. A very laid back, beachy vibe area, felt safe and was quiet. The only thing I would say is read the fine print about the spa- it does not come with your booking, it’s an extra cost of $350. Other than that, we loved our stay.

Summary: This rental home is like a home away from home! We loved all the decor, the towels, linens, and extras. Located across the street from the beach, it was perfect for walking the dog in the early morning. The bonus room downstairs has a fantastic hangout location and full bathroom, including a new shower install, for families to socialize. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog to stroll while we enjoyed the fire pit. We also loved to walk out to the marsh for crabing and fishing. Definitely our favorite place to stay on Folly Beach.

Summary: This property was perfect for our family of 4 and our Golden Retriever. The pictures on the website is exactly how we found it when we opened the door. Kitchen was stocked more than anticipated and there was a bonus room in the "garage." My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed drinking our coffee on the front porch each morning. Toby, our dog, loved the wrap around porch and fenced in backyard. We had dinner on the back deck each evening, enjoying the sunsets and playing games. The walk was short to the beach - pro tip, use the public beach access to the south of the property. The one across the street has been washed out.
