Positive: location to Muri lagoon, shops, markets. Swimming pool to cool down in morning and afternoon. Plenty of room in house. Beautiful scenery.

Positive: Tony and Lhea were great, working with us for late check-in and allowing bikes to be delivered prior to our arrival. During our stay, they were available but not intrusive. I liked that Mango is a house with a fairly private yard and covered parking with a handy clothes washer and clothesline. We didn't really need the yard or parking area, but they added to our experience, feeling a bit more "authentic" than staying in the heart of Muri, where the accomodations might be more shielded from the early-rising roosters?!? Muri is only a 5 minute bike ride from Mango. Inside, Mango has an open kitchen-dining-living room, two private bedrooms with colorful/tropical bedding on queen(?) beds, and a central bathroom. There is also a plunge pool outside, but the ocean breeze kept us cool instead. The papayas Tony and Lhea brought us were wonderful treats! If you crave salty or sweet snacks, there's a small convenience-like store nearby.
Negative: The kitchen appliances were older in style but were in working condition and everything was very clean. Same for the bathroom. The shower is on the small side and the toilet space might feel a bit narrow to some folks. It would've been nice to have had shampoo/conditioner (there was bar soap), but it was great to have bath and beach towels provided. Also, the roosters are up very early, and so will you be! ;)
Summary: I enjoyed my stay at Mango Cottages. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, roosters or not!

Positive: Gorgeous place, ideal location close to Muri. Hosts were lovely and helpful. Was also accompanied by Tik Tok the dog who is amazingly trained and is such a darling, my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed her company when having our morning coffee outside.

Positive: The house was very neat and everything that we wanted. Its location was good. Owners gave clear directions to find the residence. There are no street names so they decried it well. Bed was comfortable. A few indies but they had mosquito coils that did the trick.if you are worried by roosters crowing that might be problem. They didn’t worry us

Positive: A fab place to stay. Hosts were excellent and very helpful with lifts to church, markets etc and the fresh fruits gladly accepted. Very convenient for catching the bus and a supermarket nearby. The pool was very welcome after a day out. Excellent stay and would revisit.
