Positive: We had a very nice stay at Mima‘s Village, a place little outside of the main tourist spots with a great view in the sundowner. Some people came to that beach place just for this. Short walks to beach clubs for snorkeling or food. Recommended to have a scooter or jeep to come around. Small issues on the first day (shower/air condition) were immediately fixed by friendly host Memo. Free purified water in the room. Best value for price in Cozumel!

Positive: Location, location, location. Walk a few steps north and into the sea, float down while watching fish, and climb out on the beach. Then sit on the front porch and watch the sun set over the water.
Negative: The studio rooms in the back are a little bare-bones and don’t always get WiFi, and we couldn’t open the shutters to get light into the room. But therefore we could sleep well and then get out to snorkel.

Positive: For us, we absolutely loved this place. It was far away from the tourist zone that you can enjoy Cozumel to yourself. To get around, you really do need a car or motorcycle if you plan to eat out. We ate in and cycled around to where we needed to go. Snorkeling out front is great! Amazing sunsets
Negative: Other rooms here had a full kitchen but for us the room we booked only has a microwave. It would be good to have an electric stove so we could cook basic things like eggs.

Positive: Right on a nice stretch on coastline. There is limited resources near though. Also it is located on a one way road which makes traveling more difficult

Positive: Lovely quiet location for snorkelling. Mima was around a lot to help with any problems.
Negative: Room was not very clean. It was located at the back with no view and nowhere to sit outside. This wasn't clear in the photos. We had to wash the dishes in the bathroom. The front rooms looked spacious and had an outside area with table and chairs. They looked nice but I wouldn't recommend booking the back room.

Positive: I did my homework and knew this was not going to be fancy. I was still a bit uncertain what I would find because the price was so great. I was very happy to see that the room was very clean, had all of the things I wanted (fridge, microwave, coffee maker) and was very comfortable. The pool was small but very nice and a great place to cool off before bed. We didn't have a view from our room but all we had to do was walk to the front to be right across from the ocean. We rented a scooter for most of the days but it was just a short walk to Bahia de Uvas Beach for good food at reasonable prices, snorkeling and taxis available.
Negative: The only problem we had was the TV sound didn't work and the remote might not have been programed fro that TV. Maybe just a bad wire. Not a deal breaker at all, we just sometimes like to watch the local news or a movie if we are worn out from a day of fun.
