Adorable one bedroom cottage in a great location! Walk to the Beach - several times a day if you want to! Clean, bright, and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen for eating in. Brand new Caspar memory foam mattress. The cottage is surrounded by unique and creative gardens and has a deck landscaped for privacy with flowering shrubs and perennial beds. A perfect place to relax and cook out. Cottage is located on a quiet side street only a short walk to Newport's Easton's Beach (a.k.a. First Beach). First Beach has public facilities, a carousel, playground and twice weekly evening entertainment. It is a great area for walking, running, biking, surfing and kayaking. All equipment available to rent nearby. Restaurants, coffee shop, brew pub are within walking distance and downtown Newport is only 1.5 miles away.
This location is best for those looking for a quiet vacation spot close to but away from the hustle and bustle of Newport. Please no parties or late night noise. House rule: No voices or music loud enough to be heard outside after 10 PM.

Summary: I had a wonderful time at Garden Beach Cottage in July. My stay was comfortable. Everything was as described. The cottage is perfectly appointed. The location and proximity to Newport, First and Second Beach, Cliff Walk and area restaurants-walkable or a quick drive makes this an ideal location in a quiet beach vibe neighborhood. Trish and Paul are quick to respond to any questions and very pleasant. I hope to return.

Summary: Three night stay and provided one set of bath towels. With only 1 window AC unit, nothing dried, only mildewed. Outdoor line was covered with moss so that was not an option. Bath soap provided was actually a container of hand soap. Other VRBO experiences certainly provided much more for the traveler and particularily at that price point.

Summary: Sweet cozy cottage with all the amenities we needed...just five minute walk to beach. Location was perfect! Within minutes to lively downtown Newport. Owners were super nice . Would definitely stay again 😊😊

Summary: The cottage met all of our needs perfectly. We especially appreciated the location in a quiet area, but at a convenient distance from the beach, downtown, the Cliff Walk, etc. The small outdoor sitting area was very nice and although it was close to the other cottages, it offered a feeling of privacy in a pretty, plant-filled space.

Summary: We stayed in unit 33, it was the perfect size for the two of us. Also had a great little patio with a grill! Wicked private and right in a great location! Close to everything! Paul and Trish are great hosts and extremely nice! Recommend these cottages to anyone! James and Lisa Grace
