Positive: The cottage was lovely and the views were stunning. Great having an enclosed garden for the dog.

Negative: Just a personal thing probably but the double bed was not very comfy, the mattress was too hard for us, so unfortunately we didn't get a very good nights sleep. Also blackout curtains for the bedrooms maybe an idea for the future.

Summary: Stunning views, and Johnshaven is a gorgeous place.

Positive: The cottage is in a picture perfect location with superb facilities and a lovely enclosed garden. Everything was immaculate and the property had a very pleasant ambience. My dog loved it too !

Negative: The only thing I didn't like was the lack of clear instructions for the use of the electric hob, which I was therefore unable to operate.

Summary: Fantastic Myrtle Cottage !

Positive: The view and location were fab. The quality of the fixtures in all rooms including kitchen appliances were second to none. The cottage was very clean . A nice touch was having fresh milk in the fridge

Negative: We couldn't find instructions for the 2nd remote control called Roku. As we were unsure about it and didn't want to mess about with it we didn't use it . The TV itself was fine.

Summary: Most enjoyable have already mentioned it to friends and family that it is an excellent cottage.

Positive: Nice cottage, spectacular views. Cottage well kitted out.

Negative: Although there is a photo of the interior steps on the website, we didn't appreciate just how high the risers were, making them very steep. There is no handrail on either side which made navigating them very difficult for slightly older people (60s). Also completely unsuitable for our small dog to go up & down. We actually came home 2 days early because of the issue with the steps.
