This cozy condo is located in Summit Village at Shanty Creek Resorts. It has 1 bedroom with king bed and 1 bathroom. Additionally, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. The condo is 600 square feet, sleeps 4, and has a full kitchen. The living area has a wood burning fireplace, large television, and access to the private deck which provides amazing views over Lake Bellaire including beautiful sunsets. To access the condo, you will need to navigate a full flight of stairs (with double railing) as it is on the lower level. The property is a short walk to the Summit Village and Lakeview Restaurant. The resort includes year round excitement including 5 golf courses, skiing/snowboarding, alpine tubing, chair lift rides for fall color tours, trails, and an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub. You will also have access to the Lake Bellaire Beach Club. The town itself has unique shops and great local food and beverage options. Bellaire is also near popular destinations including Traverse City, Petoskey, and Charlevoix.

Our condo includes access to:
1. The Private Beach Club with a beautiful sandy beach. This is a short drive, < 2 miles. At the Club there is a pavilion, gas grills, bathrooms, kitchen, play ground, boat dock, and lounge chairs. There is free public boat launch right next to the beach club.
2. Additional parking area for trailers, boats, etc.
3. Heated outdoor pool (seasonal), and heated indoor pool and hot tub at Lakeview Hotel. This is a short 5 minute walk from the condo. There is also a heated indoor pool and hot tub at Schuss Mountain Lodge.
4. Free and safe resort shuttle that runs between properties and to downtown Bellaire.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at your property, with a couple exceptions. The internet was very slow which was frustrating. Also, it might be beneficial to explain to future guests how to adjust the thermostat. We had never seen a thermostat like that one. We never could figure out how to open it to change the batteries. Overall, our stay was enjoyable.

Summary: My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary and wanted to take a trip to Torch Lake. This condo is very close to not only Torch Lake but Lake Bellaire als. We also had plenty of golf courses to pick from. We had a great time and the host checked on us several times to make sure everything was good. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Our stay was so relaxing. Tha Shanty Shack was very clean and nice decor to fit the Up North feel. Enjoyed golf courses being so close and watching the sunset on the porch every evening with the sounds of nature. The host are very friendly and called to make sure everything was okay. We will be back at Shanty Shack.

Summary: Perfect place for a weekend away! We really enjoyed our stay at the summit shack! Beautiful views and nice amenities that make you feel at home. Especially loved that coffee was in the cupboard as I completely forgot to pack that! Will definitely be back! Owners were in touch and timely with responses… perfect little getaway!
