This brand new, Italian architectural style, luxurious home just a minute walk to the beach in our gated 24 hour secured family friendly community. This house has 2 garage stalls with electric garage doors. The main level is an open concept living space with a large kitchen with granite countertops and a large island to entertain. The live edge custom made dining room table with custom made swivel chairs to relax while eating. It opens up to the living room with a large flatscreen TV with extended cable. There is a 1/2 bath powder room off the living room. That room opens up to a beautiful pool with a whirlpool, waterfall and a slide. The master bedroom has a king bed with doors that open up to the pool area. The on suite has a double sink with walk in shower, separate soaking bath tub a top flush toilet and a large walk in closet. On the other side of the house is a "Jack and Jill". The first bedroom has a queen bed. In between there is a bathroom with a vanity, sink, toilet and shower that is separated by a sliding door to another sink and a large closet. The second bedroom has two bunk beds. The top is a twin and the bottom is a full. A/C units throughout.
Going to the second floor are stairs or an elevator. This pent house unit gives you your fourth bedroom.
The second floor is a 1 bedroom penthouse with a stunning view of the ocean and mountains. It is an open concept living area. The kitchen has granite countertops and a granite bar for entertaining. It has a custom made live edge table with custom made swivel chairs.
It opens up to a deck perfect for stargazing at night or watching the kite surfers during the day. The bedroom has a king size bed with an on suite that has double sinks, top flush toilet and a walk in shower. A/C units throughout.

Summary: Finding this home for our family vacation was a blessing. It looked too good to be true online, and the holiday week I wanted was available. From the process of booking the property to the day we checked out (sadly) was easy. The hardest part was the wait until the day we could arrive. We were greeted at the airport by Michel with TaxiCabarete - with a big smile. He was fabulous from the ride from the airport, all during our week, and our ride back to the airport. Not only was Erika (our property manager) full of ideas of places to go and restaurants to dine - so was Michel. I feel we made a friend! Erika was amazing both during the pre-arrival process but was just steps away if we needed anything during the week. Fabulous management. The home was spectacular. It was everything the listing had promised and more. The home, inside and out, was elegant and cozy and met our every need. The adorable coffee shop literally steps just next door was our morning routine. The short walk to the beach was delightful. The beautiful homes in the neighborhood, and the stairs that led you to the beach made the walk so easy. Cabarete is a beach we had visited before and were excited to share the location with our family for this trip. A short walk to the town on the beach day or night. The restaurants in Cabarete are all fun and fabulous. Sitting at a table in the sand with lights in the trees and the ocean right next to you made you want to return every night. Not to mention the restaurants recommended outside of Cabarete. We did enjoy a four-wheeler day trip with waterfalls and beautiful mountain views. Our family took a scuba class and saw beautiful fish and enjoyed that day as well. Sitting by the pool playing games with the family at the house was even delightful. The service with the cleaning of the home and help with our laundry was over the top. We did enjoy an evening having a meal prepared for us - arranged by Erika. And the meal was both delicious and fun - even going to the grocery store for the food and beverages we wanted was easy. Thank you to the chef. The view from the Penthouse balcony was an added bonus. Our thoughts were - this home may be the only one in the neighborhood that had a view of the ocean without being on the ocean...Thank you for sharing your home and providing the service we experienced - making a family vacation with memories and blessing we will never forget!

Summary: We visited DR with our daughter and In-Laws, of which my wife's parents have really never been out of the country. Our family had a wonderful time at the home, far exceeded our expectations. The home is everything described on VRBO and more. The home is fully stocked, has vast open space, exciting patio and pool play and super ocean views from upper balcony. Just arrive and RELAX! Any issues we experienced were handled immediately. Word of advice, do call until you want the repair performed, because Erika is so fast to respond, amazing! Kathy the house keeper has a wonderful personality and provides exceptional service well beyond expectations. She truly deserves any gratitude you can share with her. Ronda and Chuck are wonderful people, Chuck is the silent partner in the operation lol. Ronda worked with us from the start of the reservations all the way up to our return home. She helped coordinate travel to and from the airport. We flew into Santiago because of cheaper cost and Joseph picked us up at the airport. She referred to us as friends and we felt she truly meant it. Ronda provided us with irreplaceable advice on dining, activities and shopping. I recommend the Puerto Playa city tour, Rancho el Contento horse back riding excursion (awesome and well worth the cost) and self-guided snorkeling at Sosua beach. My advice is this, if your comfortable with driving in the craziness know as DR mania then rent a car, but be prepared to be a truly defensive driver. Wait to rent the car at OK Motors in Sosua with full coverage, wonderful service at great prices. I enjoy exploring the countries we visit, the behind the scenes stuff and an automobile allows this, but driving in DR isn't for the faint of heart. Make sure you shop at the Super Pola in Sosua for all your grocery needs. It has a wonderful selection of name brand and local food items in a clean and organized atmosphere. WARN: I gained 4 pounds while in DR! We also used the available laundry services once at a very low fee. We packed way too much and could have saved on luggage fees by using these services more. Recapping, wonderful experience with the family, awesome home and host. I have already told Ronda that we want first call on the new beach house in Puerto Rusia they are building. Site unseen, I know it will be wonderful with the same exceptional service. Ronda we are waiting to book the beach home, lol Friends, Robert and Melissa

Summary: The house was in great shape - furniture was new, beds were solid, bathrooms were nicely appointed. the outside pool and seating area was great too. overall i'd rent this place again. about equidistant from waffle place and Kite Club, so great location for kiters.

Summary: What a lovely, spectacular home! From the moment we arrived to the bittersweet day we left, this treasure of a house was our gathering place. The house and contents are sparkling and new-down to the manufacturer stickers still on the appliances. The pool is spacious and refreshing and it was maintained throughout our stay. The gated community is absolutely lovely and the walk to the beach(3 minutes) was our morning joy. The neighbourhood was quiet, and had private security around at night. The large beach was stunning and we walked for miles every day. We walked into Cabarete each morning, for groceries at Janet’s-took us a leisurely half hour and we usually cabbed back($10). There are a wealth of truly awesome places to eat and shop, and the local folks were friendly and helpful. This was a vacation to set your standards by, and it began and ended with the villa-roomy, breezy and clean. The gardens were lush and well tended, and garbage was picked up daily. Our maid Cathy was a delight, funny and helpful-she became part of our whole experience. The kitchen was huge and well equipped-the pictures simply do not do it justice! There was plenty of room for the five of us to stretch out and relax in privacy if that’s what anyone wanted or needed. I cannot wait to come back, thanks Ronda!

Summary: We had a wonderful vacation at Villa Italia at Cabarete beach! It was perfect for our family and friends! We loved the pool and the beach is literally a 2min walk, the rooms are very spacious, A/C was great, Wifi worked really well, kitchen had everything and the view from the upper apartment is perfect. Erika the villa manager was exceptional and Mitchel our driver was available when we needed transportation and always on-time. We will be staying here again and will be recommending to our friends and family.

Summary: Beautiful property with all the amenities. Brand new villa with gorgeous pool that includes slide, waterfalls, and hot tub with stunning lightning for nighttime enjoyment. A private suite on second floor can be reached by elevator. Beautifully decorated and a very short walk to the beach makes it an ideal vacation spot.

Summary: This home was perfect! We had 5 children under the age of 12, plus 2 adults, in the main house, and 2 more adults upstairs. Very spacious. Daily cleaning service of the home and pool. 1 minute walk to the beach. 10 minute drive to Sosua beach. Restaurants are great and many within a couple kilometers. Great café right at the entrance serving a lovely breakfast and organic coffee. Locals are very friendly and we highly recommend Michel's Taxi service. Can't wait to go back!

Summary: We fully enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at Villa Italia. The residence is perfectly situated along the beach in Cabarete, private yet so close to all the action. The house is very spacious, complete, high-end amenities with deluxe stonework and woodwork. The open layout from pool area to living room to kitchen is an incredible flow. A feel of a tropical garden, it is so relaxing that time drifts by on the estate, but alas we ventured out. Many cycles from pool to beach, as well as fun excursions within Cabarete and the greater North Coast. The owner and property staff are very responsive and aspire to make you feel at home. We highly recommend a trip to Cabarete with a stay at Villa Italia in Bahia de Arena!

Summary: We just got back from a 2 week stay at Villa Italia. We were a family of 9, with 5 children, and this property was really fantastic. We were met by the staff when we arrived, and they were very helpful in showing me around and how everything worked. The house is beautiful and very well set up for a family with kids. The back yard with the swimming pool is outstanding, equivalent to a resort pool area, this was definitely the highlight for our family. The pool man and the ladies that clean come daily and are very accommodating and helpful. Any small issues that arose were addressed immediately. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook full meals for a large group. Location in Bahia de Arena is also a fantastic feature, access to the beach is a 1 minute walk. This property is just off the beach enough to minimize the wind and gives full sun exposure by the pool all day. Local bars, restaurants and shopping are a short walk down the beach, or a quick taxi ride if you choose. I highly recommend this property to anyone vacationing in the Cabarete area, with a large group. The management staff (Erika ,Lisbeth and Ronda) are all fantastic to deal with and it is a very well maintained and managed property. I will definitely be going back to this area and would rent from Ronda in this, or one of her other properties in Bahia de Arena.

Summary: We stayed 5 days for our anniversary. It was heavenly. A 5 minute walk to the beach and we walked the beach every day. Plenty of very good restaurants both on the beach and in Cabarete. Did some shopping but it was so good to just relax and enjoy the ocean waves, watch the kite surfers and the taste the really good food. We didn't want to leave. Definitely would come back. The villa was so clean and had a very comfortable bed. We slept very well and used the pool and hot tub. Anyone wanting a getaway - this is the place to go.
