Summary: The property is modern and clean but in no way does it accommodate 8. There was no double futon as listed and the queen beds are actually full beds. Be prepared to stock everything yourself and I do mean everything. A few rolls of toilet paper and a few trash bags were available but that’s it. Kitchen supplies were very basic. Washing machine lid would not stay closed so no laundry could be done.

Summary: This was a very nice property. The area at first appeared questionable, but was pleasant and quiet. It was very roomy and comfortable. The pictures do not do the home justice. If I had to list a negative, it would be that the garage was not available when we were under the impression that it would be. However, the owner made parking accommodations to avoid street parking. Overall, it was a very good experience, and my family and I would stay again in the future.

Summary: When our daughter called to tell us that she and her fiance had decided to get married on a Friday in City Park, we immediately began making plans for our stay. After booking our stay at "Golden Flake" in the Plum Orchard section of East New Orleans, we were contacted by the property manager with all of the pertinent information we would need for our stay. The directions provided were clear and precise. We arrived mid-afternoon on Friday and found the townhouse to be clean and comfortable. While the location does not offer much in the way of attractions, the neighborhood is quiet and convenient to practically all of the best sites in New Orleans. We were less than a 20 minute drive from City Park, and some of the best restaurants in the city. We will be back for another visit in the not-too-distant future. Thanks!

Summary: Three bedroom are perfect for 6 adults. We had 7 and had to use a mattress on the floor in the living room. Worked out for us but I would recommend anyone with more people to find another listing. The neighborhood was safe and we enjoyed our short ride downtown and French quarter’s.

Summary: The property was not cleaned properly. There were open food left in the pantry along with an almost empty bottle of vodka. Empty and almost empty shampoo and body wash left in the upstairs bathroom, a dirty washcloth was left hanging over the shower curtain rod in the master bedroom. There was no washer, only a dryer. A dirty mattress and other items were in the laundry room. Only four plates , and there was five of us. Only plastic spoons and forks, no dishcloths to wash the dishes. We had to go and buy dish detergent to wash the dishesThere was a room across from the downstairs bathroom that had junk( no othe rway I can say it) piled up in it. In the description it stated there were contact information for the hospital, police and fire department. That contact information was not located in any part of the property. I did contact the owner and relayed my concern to him and he apologized and stated he will come by the next day to address our concerns. However, he never showed up. He did refund SOME of the cleaning fee and not all of it like I asked for, nevertheless he NEVER showed up. Every time I talked to him he put everything on the cleaning lady. Not Professional at ALL!! The property belongs to him and not the cleaning lady!!
