Summary: Good few days break. We parked up and walked everywhere. So close to town centre Takeaways and waterfront. Great property. Owner so easy to deal with.

Summary: Charming cottage with updated amenities. It's an older neighborhood, but well kept, and within walking distance of everything! Our adult son with us for much of our stay, and there was plenty of space. Wonderful city park nearby, major grocery stores, downtown, the wonderful coastal walkway were all just a walk away. Good kitchen facilities (even an ice maker, which was wonderful for warm summer weather. The key wasn't in the lock box when we arrived, but it was remedied quickly and graciously! This was a wonderful, relaxing stay for our last week in New Zealand.

Summary: Indeed the description is spot on - the cottage was super charming and very central! We had a fantastic week-long stay -it was a wonderful base to explore Taranaki National Park -which we did most days - just 20, 30 or 50 min drive to trailheads - and also loved to return to the comfortable house, great kitchen, everything we needed, and comfy bed after long hiking days! We also enjoyed New Plymouth's coastal walkway and other local parks and the convenient location could not be beat. Caitlin was super communicative and fast and we would definitely come back if ever back in New Plymouth!
