This beautiful newly built home is located in the quiet residential University Park neighborhood. Located within walking distance from a diverse offering of restaurants, bars, shops, and parks and only a short jaunt to the University of Portland makes this house a convenient place to stay while in Portland. It was thoughtfully designed with cathedral ceilings that allow for an ample amount of light. The light is easily filtered with motor operated blinds. When sleeping in the upstairs bedroom, you will awake to sounds of a variety of birds that dwell in the surrounding canopy of trees.
This is a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home with a separate gated entrance and private garden. It is fully furnished with all new appliances, cookware, and linens. It has a washer/ dryer, air conditioning, and a dual fuel stove. This 800 sq ft home has been tastefully decorated and is very inviting. It is located 1/2 mile from the University of Portland and 1 mile from the quaint neighborhood of St. Johns with a variety of restaurants, cafes, pubs, and parks. The beautiful St. Johns Bridge and Cathedral Park are just a 1-mile walk from the home.
The nearest grocery store New Seasons is located just three blocks down the street and McKenna Park is just one block behind the home. Fred Meyer shopping is located just four blocks away. There is a designated off street parking spot for two vehicles .
The property is located just three blocks from the TriMet bus stops which connect to the city's Max light rail line which can transport you to all parts of the city.

Summary: Julie & Jim were amazing host. We traveled from Florida for my daughter’s family weekend at the University of Portland and we couldn’t ask for a better location. The drive was less than 5 minutes and the house had everything you could need. Plenty of towels, toiletries, and snacks for my teenage son. My wife was astonished by the little details of the decorations. The communication with the host was the best, we came on a rare snow storm and they kept us updated on road conditions even offered the house for early check in and late checkout. Considering my daughter still has a couple years left @UP we will try and stay here again.

Summary: this place is epic and the owners are as good as it gets. fast communication and all instructions clear. the place is really homey and modern all in one. everything worked and everything was better than described. we will be back. thank you for the amazing week!!!

Summary: Such a wonderful spot when we are with our daughter and her partner so close to our other daughter and her family!! The rooms are very comfortable and in addition my very favorite robe is available even though I didn't bring it with me!!!!! And Lyrical Lynda also loves the tv connect to a music station! Best VRBO ever and we often use those!!!

Summary: My family visited our daughter in Portland and we stayed at this wonderful house. Perfect size for three of us with nice modern features. It was very comfortable and cozy and we had a great time there. The owners were communicative and thoughtful and we would definitely go back.

Summary: This is a lovely property and Jim and Julie have thought of everything! I had to work, the WiFi and small desk were up to the rigors of Teams meetings. When I needed to make dinner, cabinet spices went beyond salt and pepper and the stove was top notch. When I had to do laundry, there was detergent. In short, it was like being at home but in a lovely small house. Will definitely use again.
