Positive: Very comfortable for watching the Northern Lights. It’s perfect for enjoying the frozen lake and especially great for watching the Northern Lights at night. We traveled with our own car, which made it very easy to reach Kiruna as well as attractions like the Ice Hotel and Nutta Sami Siida. We stayed in both Cabin 1 and Cabin 2. Cabin 2 was more comfortable than Cabin 1, thanks to its kitchen area, more spacious layout, and additional hooks on the walls. However, in both cabins, the tops of the air conditioners and the storage areas under the beds were a bit dusty.

Negative: The toilet and bathroom are located in a separate building at the back of the cabin. On the first day, we had a bit of trouble finding them, so a sign indicating their location would be helpful. Also, the trash in the toilet was overflowing on our first day. During our stay, the soap dispenser in the toilet remained empty. Overall, it’s a pleasant accommodation, but it could use a bit more attention to detail. Additionally, after using the bathroom, the room gets very steamy, making it a bit tricky to dry off and get dressed; a separate dressing area would have been useful.

Positive: The cabin was well equipped and in a perfect location. Very comfortable bed and easy to find with the directions given. The hosts were quick in replying to messages and very helpful.

Negative: It would have been helpful to have an outdoor light between the cabins and the toilet facilities to see where you are going as I fell on the way to the toilet. It would also have been good to have a bench or something in the shower room for belongings to sit on while in the shower to stop them getting wet.

Summary: Fabulous experience, would love to come back one day!

Positive: This was the best place I stayed my entire trip! Such a cosy cabin in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Cecilia was so friendly and helpful, and the cabin was very well thought out. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back. I was a bit nervous about the separate bathroom after a bad experience elsewhere but inside it felt just like a hotel bathroom!

Negative: Not the easiest to get to if you haven't hired a car but 100% worth the taxi fare!

Positive: Superb, quiet cabin, with a stunning view over a frozen river. Great location to relax and take in the nature. Short 15 mins drive from the airport, easily accessible with a rental car, with the cabin being both remote and actually not too far of a drive from a small supermarket etc. Extremely nice and helpful owners, with Cecilia being super warm and always at the ready to help, living on the same property. Very clean cabin, with a great high bed, incl.a remote-control adjustable matress and a huge panoramic window above the bed, for that perfectly relaxing viewing point for aurora. Highly recommendable !
