Positive: Absolutely loved my stay here! Very helpful staff, calm atmosphere and nice view from the room. Loved to sit on the terrace and look at the mountains.

Positive: The location in Paul is excellent, the tropical garden setting was peaceful amongst the banana trees, the chickens running round freely, amazing. Sitting on the peaceful balcony whilst taking in the stunning mountain views The accommodation is right in the valley, minutes from good restaurants The room was rustic and in keeping with the surroundings, clean and tidy Breakfast was good and plentiful for a days walking!! Neusa and Marco are excellent hosts making you feel at home, you can leave your luggage after checkout until you leave Thankyou Neusa, we all enjoyed our stay and will return, highly recommended I have stayed on santo antao before but halfway up the mountain but prefer being in the valley, we got the aluger way up the mountain and walked down, being a party of over 60's we enjoyed the 5 hour walk

Negative: The only gripe was after a 5 hour walk all i wanted to do was relax on the balcony but at the entrance to the guesthouse there was a wedding party which included a huge speaker with head banging music all afternoon until 11pm but thats not the guest houses fault

Positive: Location is good, staff is welcoming and always trying their best to help with any requests.

Negative: Water didn't run at times. A little expensive. Breakfast was not great with birds flying around and messing with cakes.

Positive: Nice garden with seats, clean room, big balcony, friendly staff (although no English), good internet and good breakfast (with view if you are in the front row!).

Negative: A refrigerator in the room would be a tip (specially for this price). The tree in front of the house is nice but it also blocks the seaview (so be aware there is no view). Pay by card would be helpfull.

Positive: Excellent place to stay over, nice garden with hammock. Good breakfast, very nice and clean. Receptionist was so friendly and smiling. Good service!

Negative: Big pillow's, the bed make noises when you move around.
