Positive: We loved the location, the sand beach, the staff at the buffets were outstanding - courteous and very welcoming. The rooms were big and although some maintenance would not hurt, they were totally acceptable. The beds were comfortable, loved the bathtub, the water pressure was good and we did not have issues with water temperature (our rooms were in the ground floor). We also enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi - I wish those could be booked for longer than 30 minutes a day. The coatis were the absolute hit with the kids. A special shout out to Teo at the tour booking. He went above and beyond to make sure our trip was happening after the tour company screwed up. Looking forward to come again!
Negative: The a la carte restaurants seemed understaffed, which affected negatively the quality of the service. The deserts there were at times really (like really-really-really) bad. Although restaurants offered a nicer presentation of the food, the buffet was a better place to eat - fresher and at least as tasty
