Summary: We visited Oak Island for the first time in approximately 2004. We stopped for a couple of years visiting other beaches, but since our return to the island several years ago, it still holds its unique charm for us. Although the island seems to be growing and the traffic getting heavier with each passing year, it's still our little place of peace where time can slow down if you let it. Randall

Summary: My fiancé and I stayed at the property for 6 days and had 0 complaints about the property. The place was sparkling clean from top to bottom and extremely comfortable. Only issue that we found was that the HVAC thermostat was very touchy and only worked when held just right. Overall we would both highly recommend the property so they can experience the beautiful ocean front paradise for themselves.

Summary: Overall everything was good but as an older couple we would look for something closer to ground level.

Summary: We had a great time enjoying the wonderful views of the ocean from the balcony, living room and master bed room. The walk to beach area was fine after we managed 3 flights of stairs...an elevator would be great! The one complaint was the filthy carpet in the master bed room and worn one in 2nd bed room.
