The Salty Seahorse is a two storey beach house with ocean views from both levels.
Max of 8 guests: 6 adults & 2 children
The property is only 7 years old, filled with light and painted white throughout. It is decorated in relaxing a coastal colour palette, with seahorses and sea-life.
The kitchen has gas hotplates and an electric oven, microwave, Nespresso, and even a vintage orange squeezer.
Pademelons (often with their joeys) come to visit every evening to feast on the front lawn.
LIVING AREAS
There are two large living areas - one downstairs adjoining the kitchen, and one upstairs with a balcony. Both have ocean views. There is a front deck and a large undercover rear deck as well.
SEATING
We have multiple seating options upstairs and downstairs for relaxing including a three-seater lounge, 2 two-seater lounges, club chairs, wing back chairs, and outdoor chairs. There is a work desk and chair upstairs.
BEDROOMS
The house has four bedrooms, three have queen beds, and the fourth has two single beds for children. All have new inner-spring mattresses.

(The Mermaid Room has a queen sized bed and views of pasture land and low mountains. It is situated opposite the Main Bathroom.)

Please note that at the moment the house is not suitable for children under 5 years old due to a steep staircase with no baby gate, and decks with drops.
PARKING
Please note that you do not have access to the garage, but the driveway fits two to three cars, and there is plenty of street parking.

ALL PETS MUST have current flea treatments (using a reliable vet brand -not a cheap supermarket brand)
WHERE PETS STAY
We love furry and feathered friends, but we also respect that future guests may have allergies to pets so we don’t allow pets on furniture. If you pet sheds, we ask you to please keep your pet outside. The back deck is large and sheltered.
A large stretch of beach opposite the Salty Seahorse is a year round off-leash dog beach. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the National Park areas.
We have a large CAT enclosure with climbing shelves on the sheltered back deck. Internal size 90 x 117 x 183cm high. See photo. There is plenty of room at the bottom for a cat toilet. Cats are not permitted to wander inside the house.
Your dog can also be kept in this enclosure overnight for the safety of the local wildlife. Please bring your own pet food, beds, and cat litter.
The backyard is fully fenced, but monitor your dog if they dig under houses, as the house sits on piers.
Please clean up after your pet. Extra cleaning fees will be charged for pet created mess.
