BOAT HARBOUR BEACH is a delightful beachside village where fertile pastures sweep down to the sea.
Boat Harbour Beach, TASMANIA'S CARIBBEAN and BEST KEPT SECRET is located on the magnificent North West Coast of Tasmania and is only a one hour flight from Melbourne Victoria via the BURNIE AIRPORT situated at WYNYARD. A perfect weekend escape from the hustle and bustle of the big cities.
This Beach is nestled amongst many local attractions which include Rocky Cape National Park, Detention's Dip Falls, Dismal Swamp Fun Park, Historic Stanley village and Nut, Burnie's Pioneer village and Makers Workshop and Table Cape's panoramic views and historic lighthouse.
Sunnysands is just 30 metres from and overlooking the Main Boat Harbour Beach and has private parking and level entry.
You can relax on the balcony and enjoy the everchanging colours and moods of the clear waters of Bass Strait or take a leisurely stroll over the pure white sands. You can enjoy a game of golf on the scenic WYNYARD course nestled beside historic Fossil Bluff or choose the Seabrook course just 5 min East of Wynyard.
Make Sunnysands your base and experience the fresh local cuisine and friendliness of the people. If you prefer to spoil yourself, Jolly Rogers Cafe and Restuarant are open all day serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
You won't be cold at Sunnysands as the unit has a large 6 kw electric heater.
Unit features a fully equipped kitchen and dining room -double bed and two single beds all with electric blankets -shower and laundry facilities - a cosy lounge with a TV/DVD player, Unit has one bathroom with shower.
Sunnysands has National accreditation and adheres to all statutory conditions required.

The unit may be booked as one or two bedroom and there is an extra charge of for two persons needing to use both bedrooms.
In the main bedroom is a high quality double bed due to the configuration of the room.

Summary: The apartment was great for a 4 day getaway. It is situated in a great spot and we never tired of watching the ocean views. We did a one day trip to The Nut at Stanley (my first time, which is shameful after 40 years living in Tasmania). The apartment has no wifi so anyone wanting to have telephony services needs to check with their providers to ensure that they have phone and data service Boat Harbour. Optus has next-to-no-service, and Telstra's is patchy at best. Mary, the host, was very keen to help. We enjoyed our stay.
